We're from Bad Axe, Michigan, hence the name Bad Axe RetroCade. Bad Axe is located a few hours North of Detroit and about 20 minutes from the Lake Huron coast in the center of Huron County. Maybe I should do a little town tour for those of you who've never heard of or been here? 🤔

Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, PS 1&2, and N64 - as well as the original Game Boy and Game Boy Color 🌟 Summer Hours 🌟 Thurs: 4-8:30pm Fri: 4-9pm Sat: 2-9pm Sun: 2-8pm

Went there on 11/15/24 with my friends. For $8, which was $5 in coins and $3 for a wristband, we had a blast. Don't let the size of the place fool you, it has so many fun things to do, and even a gaming room with old gaming consoles. We were surprised by how affordable it was to play, which was a HUGE plus. Staff were super friendly, the place was very clean, and I had a great time. I will be coming back with my friends more often, and we are more than happy to support this local business. If you have kids, or if you have your inner child still, GO TO THIS ARCADE. IT IS SO WORTH IT!

Edit: I learned that this place is VERY friendly to individuals with sensory issues, and offer ear defenders and ear plugs to handle noise. As an autistic individual, I greatly appreciate this service. Looking out for people with needs is so important and I am so happy they offer this service. I would give MORE than 5 stars if I could. this...

5 Stars – A True Gem for Arcade Lovers!

I had an amazing experience at this Bad Axe Retrocade! The vibe took me straight back to the golden age of gaming, with a fantastic selection of classic machines and games. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun, and everything was well-maintained. What really stood out, though, were the owners—super friendly, passionate, and genuinely excited to share their love for retro gaming. They made the whole visit feel special. We were staying on Lake Huron for a family vacation and headed into Bad Axe for a rainy afternoon to explore. We are so glad we came in to the RetroCade as it was the absolute highlight of the town! The owners have done a fabulous job curating the space full of vintage gaming activities. Some of our highlights included duck hunt, guitar hero, skee ball, ms pac man, and all the pinball you could want.
