I gave the lowest possible rating for stars for the simple fact morongo calmed me two nights each week for the month of November I'm a gold card member was a gold card member while I was at the desk from a registration to stay for my birthday and hopefully qualify for the poker tournament by getting my hours in I needed to call the card company to confirm my deposit for the room I asked the clerk if it was okay to leave my bags on the counter while I made the phone call and she told me it was however that did not stop them from giving my bags to security who went through them apparently finding some sort of substance in the bag instead of questioning me about it or informing me of what they had found they allowed me to check into my room while they called the police unbeknownst to me. After I had freshen up I came downstairs and inquired about my hygiene bag and they told me they were reviewing the video footage to confirm that it was indeed my bag I told him I would be on the gaming floor. Having wasted a couple hundred dollars in their casino waiting for my bag I decided to go upstairs to my room to rest seems that it was past midnight now I was stopped at the elevator and told them I could go get my bag grateful I headed to where I was told to go figured to get my bag go upstairs and lay down this was not going to happen the they took me to a room where police officers and security were waiting for me I was cuffed and arrested. Apparently illegal certain seizure is not a problem for Indian casinos nor for the officers they call to arrest you after having completed disinfringement upon my civil liberties to add insult the injury for the past 4 hours they knew they had intended to have me arrested but did not inform me of my legal predicament and instead allowed me to waste hundreds of dollars on their gaming floor before adding insult to injury of trespassing me and telling me they no longer felt that my present that their casino was in their best interest and trespass me for 30 days which later became a permanent ban from their casino for the letter I received today. My property that was in the room which could have been avoided had the informed me of my legal predicament when it all began 4 hours ago I wouldn't had any property in that room I would have returned it to my vehicle and waited for them to complete whatever investigation they needed but instead now my property was abandoned at their casino where I could no longer go without threat of arrest they told me I forfeited any winnings or jackpots that I had acquired while at their casino I suppose this includes the gift card I redeemed for $48 and some change which they never return to me also once I did receive my property having been my birthday I had received some gift cards from friends and family missing were three $10 gift cards from Subway $100 gift card from circle k a $50 Arco gas card and my watch a recent birthday gift. Now not only had they had me arrested and in custody from the 13th till the 18th of November. Place my property in lost and found as abandoned for which hundreds of dollars in gift cards are missing as well as my newly gifted watch. The other missing item my car key. This I'm informed was placed with the items the officer took for evidence this I don't understand only that it's placement into evidence sole purpose is to harass me or vex me as now I cannot have anyone go collect my vehicle from their parking structure at their casino as I can't do it because not only did they transfer me I am court ordered until my court date not to return to morongo and for the letter I received today under threat of criminal trespass do not return to any of their facilities gas stations travel centers included why they believe I would like to return to their facility after they wrongfully had me arrested illegally searched my property I don't understand what I do understand is there no by no means voted the best of anything by LA times perhaps they should talk to some of the consumers or visitors who they wrongly had arrested after...

Before the table opened a lady put her chips down and reserved her spot (Spanish 21). I was waiting for a spot to open at that specific table.

After waiting 20 minutes the lady did not come back, so I asked the dealer, “how long can you reserve this spot for?” He replied, “usually we don’t reserve for more than 30 minutes. Give here about another 20 minutes. So I did.” After waiting for 40 minutes I then brought it up to the dealer that it’s been quite a while already. He brought it up to the supervisor and the supervisor gave her another 5 minutes. I then again, waited those 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes it was brought up to the manager, Nathan Anderson. Nathan told me that I can go play at another table of spanish 21, and that he would not remove her spot. I was standing there, confused and frustrated. (I was waiting the time periods given granted that seat and now being told to go to another table if I wanted to play Spanish 21) After 5 minutes of Nathan’s response, I went to go confront him on why he did not want to remove the chips and allow me to play. His response was “for that member we will not draw her chips, but like I mentioned there are 2 tables open playing Spanish 21” I replied with “I want to specifically sit at that table with my brother in law, why can’t you just move her chips to one of the tables that has that opening?!” His response was “I will not do that sir”. I then asked “why, is it because she has a black card?!” He then replied with “no it’s not because of her black card but you are more than welcome to go to the other tables”. I then felt discriminated, because why else would he reserve that spot for someone and not give it to me, when he had the option to reserve her spot at another table. I then asked to speak to his higher up because I knew he would not help me in what would be fair. He would not want to give me any form of speaking to a higher up and he called security. I then started recording in hopes of being able to show his boss how he was acting, he even called me a “Karen”. Security came and I was escorted out, and had a ban of 24 hours.

I know it’s because of my race, from the moment he was brought up with that attention there was no wiggle room, no time limit for that specific member as he mentioned. I had also asked him, “do I have the opportunity to reserve my table without a time limit” he did not answer that question.

I will be coming be coming back to the casino to gamble, as I’ve also had good customer service from prior visits. I have hopes of justice being served, I won’t make a review or share my experience on social media, because I want to see if management would have him replaced with someone with more respect, transparency, and whom is not racist.

I feel like anyone would act like a “Karen”, if it would have been with any other. I suggest at looking from the cameras, and any audio recordings that could have been captured even ask the dealers or the employees wearing black cards they should answer on how long I was waiting! I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding a distressing incident that occurred during my recent visit to your casino, which I now deem the worst experience of my life. I do not engage in gambling or alcohol consumption; however, I accompanied my sister for an evening of entertainment.

As I was preparing to leave the casino, I was assaulted by an individual who forcibly grabbed my arm and attempted to take my purse. After I successfully managed to push him away, he proceeded to spit on me. I reported this incident to the security personnel at the entrance before exiting, intending to ensure their awareness of the situation so they could prevent the assailant from targeting others. I provided my identification and a full description of the perpetrator, which was all the information I possessed.

Despite my explanation that I was fatigued and had work commitments early on Christmas Day, security insisted that I accompany them to submit a statement regarding the incident. I indicated that I would file my own report at the police station. Security personnel attempted to detain me and initially refused to return my identification. After reiterating that my ID was my property and requesting it back, they finally complied.

Feeling unsafe, I requested an escort to my vehicle, as I was concerned that the assailant might be waiting for me. Regrettably, there was little concern demonstrated by your security staff regarding my situation or the safety of other patrons. Instead of searching for the individual who assaulted me, they followed me as I sought my sister so we could leave. I expressed my discomfort with their proximity during my search, but my request was not acknowledged, and they continued to trail me within the casino.

Ultimately, after trying to exit the premises, I was confronted and informed that I was banned from the casino due to my alleged non-cooperation, despite my intention to leave. This accusation was perplexing, as I was merely departing and had not committed any wrongdoing. Shortly thereafter, I began to record the interaction to document the events as they unfolded, at which point security staff asserted that recording was prohibited and began taking photos and videos of me, treating me as if I were the perpetrator rather than a victim.

Furthermore, I was dismayed to learn that my sister was also informed she was banned from the casino, despite her having no involvement in the incident. The actions taken against both of us lacked just cause and left me feeling further victimized.

The handling of this incident by your security personnel raises serious concerns about their commitment to patron safety. I am in the process of filing a police report regarding the assault, and I intend to pursue legal action against the casino for the physical and emotional trauma I have experienced.
