" One of The Best Restaurants We Have Ever Been Too " OMG, this Cielo Restaurant was 27 floors above the Morongo Casino and was FANTASTIC ! The seating areas and views of the mountains out of the windows were breathtaking. They have a person playing some calm and nice piano tunes in the middle of the seating areas. Jared our server was one of the nicest and very professional servers we have ever seen. It was my wife and my Anniversary we were celebrating, and Jared did a great job doing everything to make our night AWESOME ! We started our meals with 2 cocktails from the large Bar area in the restaurant which were very good. The Food we ordered was so different, and so Great Tasting. We started our dinner with Cielo Crab Cake and some Crispy Coconut Shrimp. Both Starters were so tasty and so different. The Crab Cake was an A++. I then had a bowl of French Onion Soup that was delicious. We then shared a Signature dish of Shrimp Scampi which was so tasty. I also had a side dish of Bacon & Smoked Cheddar Mac and Cheese which was the best I have ever had. With the Great service and personality that Jared gave to me and my wife and the FANTASTIC food that the Cielo Restaurant served, we will definitely be coming back to this calm and great-tasting Restaurant.

This place is a dream. Located on the 28th floor of Morongo Casino and Resort. My husband took me here for our 16th wedding anniversary and I was incredibly impressed. There’s an elevator ThT takes you directly to the top and it is complete blue aesthetic. Absolute luxury. Once the doors open again you step into a long gorgeous hallways adorned with art and the most breathtaking scenic view. The restaurant itself has traditional steak house seating but the center of the room has an elegant pianist on what looks like a baby grand and a massive chandelier. The lighting is low but bold with what I would say is hot pink. There is an upper level seating area and a bar. The staff of course is very attentive and very professional. I have tried 5 steakhouse in Riverside county and Cielo is definitely TOP 5 . The ambiance sets the mood for a very sexy evening. It is number one for aesthetic hands down! Absolutely loved this place so upset I forgot to review it. I have the entire video on my ig but I’m sharing tidbits here. Also if you’re looking for the whole experience… DRESS ACCORDINGLY. Black suit. Black evening dress. The walk from the car is a bit much so maybe not your most uncomfortable heel. 💋

I am a Vietnam veteran so my wife likes to take me out on Veterans Day, it is also our wedding anniversary, and I like to take her out to celebrate. There is no nice restaurants in Banning, were we live. My wife suggested we try Cielo Restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant, then things got bad. Wen we order our meal, Jared, our waiter, told us it will take 45 minutes to prepare them, so my wife order Brie as an appetizer. She order pasta with vegetables for dinner and I order the Kansas City Stake, with mushrooms and onions on top. We had coffee to drink. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to serve our dinner. The brie was barely melted. The bottom part was a solid piece. The pasta had no flavor and it also had to much butter, or oil. My plate came with a large piece of meat with no sites. I was never told that this meal was a la carte. Jared, our waiter told me the meat will be pink inside and juicy. I responded that is the way I like it. But the steak was over cooked, dry and fatty . More than once I had to take pieces of gristle from my mouth. I left quite of bit of the steak, because it was no possible to eat it. Very gross. We requested refill for our coffee, four times and we were served 3 times. We wore never asked for refills them self. A restaurant employee call us the next day and asked about our experience. When I told her she was shocked and asked if I would talk to the manager. I said yes. She told me he would call right away. But he didn't. When I reach out to the restaurant, days later, I was told they will hand deliver the message directly to BOB, the restaurant manager. He never did contacted me. A week later my wife and I went back to the restaurant to talk to BOB, the manager of the restaurant. BOB informed us that brie is no serve like fondued. My wife told BOB it is also no serve as a block of cheese. When we told BOB about the pasta dish, he told us it was our fault no to report it. When I told BOB about my steak, he told me it was my fault no to say anything. My wife and I were raised not to waist food, so we didn't said anything, but also, we could not believe that this beautiful and elegant restaurant serve these inferior quality of food and charge these expensive prices. I would never have posted this if I did no feel ignore by BOB, the manager of the restaurant. He also make us feel ignorant about how food is serve. If there is a Supervisor above BOB, who would like to talk to me or my wife about our experience, our names are Cecilia and Brian Ramsey, and we had dinner on 11/11/22 at 6:15 pm.

My husband and I made a reservation here for his birthday and we were so excited about this place. Unfortunately, it was terrible. Everything started out okay and it all went downhill after we received our coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was over cooked, very chewy and over fried, taking away the coconut/shrimp flavor (This is not our first time eating coconut shrimp, so we know what it should taste like). The waiter came and asked us if everything was OK and I said actually this appetizer isn’t that great (only ate half of one shrimp, out of 4), it’s over cooked is there any chance we can get a replacement. He wasn’t happy with the response and removed it from the table. He came back to the table and said I was wrong, the chef said they were fine and said they wouldn’t be replaced because they would be the same. I proceeded without an appetizer after that. We then received our main dish. I ordered the Chilean Miso Glazed Seabass, which was a large piece of fish, that was cooked perfectly, but was drowned in a miso, super sweet, ‘gravy’ and not glazed, which made it a very sloppy dish. It reminded me of a bulk/buffet style plate, or some terrible food you get at a wedding. Since our waiters demeanor changed after the appetizer, we didn’t want to mention anything about our food. We originally wanted to order the butter cake for dessert, but we’re so turned off by the service that we didn’t want to be disappointed any further. Overall, The best thing we had at this restaurant was the lobster bisque my husband ordered for his appetizer. We had high hopes for this place and we were let down. Lastly, earlier in the day, I received a call confirming our reservation where I was also told that the restaurant would require business attire dress code. When we arrived there people were wearing hoodie sweaters at the dinner table, leggings and slide sandals, and some guest at the restaurant bar were yelling at the games, clapping, like it was a sports bar. We thought this was an upscale restaurant, and we’re hoping to have a nice birthday dinner, but in reality this place was not that. We will not be returning.

Cielo Steakhouse in the Morongo Casino is a top notch restaurant. The staff is friendly and very professional. The food was delicious. I ordered the Bone in Ribeye steak and Lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly just as I ordered it, medium rare. The vegetable sides were delicious and aldente with the perfect amount of seasoning. The mashed potatoes were creamy and very flavorful. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. Leave the kids at home because you will definitely want to enjoy a romantic evening with your partner or significant other.. They have live music while you eat. The experience was quite pleasant. Its a little in the pricey side but the food and the service its well worth it. Make sure to call first and make reservations. It does get busy during dinner time. Oh and no casual clothing allowed. So dress up nice! Have fun!
