Pink Coffee — Restaurant in Banning

On Sunday night, my wife and I visited The Pink Coffee at Casino Morongo. We ordered a spinach and feta pastry and an Oreo cheesecake. Although I requested the pastry to be warmed, it was still cold when served. Both pastries looked appealing but had a strange, unpleasant taste, as if they had been stored with spoiled produce. The Oreo cheesecake, which appeared exquisite, was particularly disappointing; the cookie on top was very soggy. We each had a spoonful and couldn’t bring ourselves to eat more, ultimately throwing it away while others watched, which was quite embarrassing. Despite the excellent coffee, the overall experience was marred by the poor quality of the pastries, high prices, and slow service. The total for both pastries and the coffee came up to $20.32. Very disappointed with quality of product for the "higher" pricing: layered chocolate cake and fruit pastry. Layered cake looked great but was dry and the cream used in layers had a "chewy" texture. In addition, the slice was put into a cardboard container without a protective doilie underneath the cake. It probably sat in the display case for a while. The fruit pastry (fruit atop custard in a shortbread-like crust) was equally disappointing. The custard was "watery" and the crust about 1/4" thick and hard. This last stop was our cherry on the top for our wedding anniversary 2-24-2022 the Young lady the night shift between 12 30 am I don't remember her name was very polite and friendly she had smile on her face so sweet with us n rest of the costumers ,the velvet cake was amazing we didn't mind for the price it was so darn good we will definitely come back when we are in town wayyyyyyyy better than Star bucks sorry the French kiss hot coffee is amazing we highly recommend it thank you.wish there was...
