We have been timeshare owners at a resort in Panama City Beach since 1984, and at a resort in St. Augustine since 2005. We trade our units every year, and we take RCI bonus weeks as often as possible. We have made 68 RCI trades, 50 in the United States, and 18 outside the United States. We consider ourselves to be very much experts on RCI trades and RCI properties. With that said, Via Roma was one of the nicest trades we have made in our 38 years of timesharing.||||Via Roma has a very “retro” looks on the outside. It is clean, and well maintained. The pool is small, but there are only 28 total units at this resort. The beach is immaculate, and the area around the pool is extremely well maintained.||||When you open the door to your condo you get a surprise that is above and beyond what you will be expecting. Three years ago, they renovated every unit on site, and the units are nothing short of beautiful. We had a one bedroom which I believe was 592 square feet. This was some of the best used 592 square feet that I have ever seen.||||The living room has a very nice sitting area. There is a large flat screen TV with a huge number of channels. The small 4 seat round dining table is open to the living room, and right across a breakfast bar is a small, but very well laid out kitchen. The stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and toaster are all stainless steel. The cook wear is very nice. There is a nice coffee maker which we did not use because wee do not drink coffee. The unit includes a nice modern blender, and extremely nice beach themed white dishes.||||The most important thing here is the beach, and in my opinion, it is one of the very best in the United States. We have been all over Florida, from the ban handle to Key West, and back up to St. Augustine. The Bradenton Beach water is crystal clear; the sand is a beautiful white, with some shells and edging rocks near the water.||||Overall, Via Roma is one of the nicest resorts we have ever been to. It is not fancy. The are are ZERO activities on sight. What you have is a perfect beach at a perfect little get away about 40 yards from the water’s edge.||||For TripAdvisor we rate this resort a strong 5. If I could give it bonus points...
Read moreWe are BG owners and a last minute opening became available for a little post operation R& R. Just what the doctor ordered. Check in was a breeze as we already pre paid. Front desk gal was very pleasant. We got there an hour early, and a room was just finished being clean. Wasnt the best view, but no stairs, and a easy walk to the car. There are no elevators,, so if you can't walk up a flight of stairs to 2nd. Request a bottom floor.. The rooms were beautifully updated. The grounds are kept up. Probably the first property that we've been to that both the hot tub and pool were both sparkling. There are lounge chairs by the shuffle board that you can drag down to the beach. Just return them so we don't lose the privilege. Location is excellent. Theres a convenient store within walking distance and Publix, Walgreens and CVS all a 5 minute car ride. Publix also offers free delivery. Some really good restaurants a quick drive also. This is the way I remember Florida resorts. Its nice to not go to those Chain resorts all the time. There are two grills to cook on. During covid they prefer you bring your own cooking utensils. And a few voluntary cleaning of your room before check out so they can concentrate on the covid sanitation procedures. Like stripping your bed, picking up towels and putting in tub, shower. We will definitely stay again when we find bonus...
Read moreVia Roma is a wonderful gem to get away and relax! Virginia and Deborah in the office are very warm and helpful with anything we may need. The units were recently remodeled and are done in style! They think of eery detail for those who are traveling. The kitchen was fully stocked with stainless steel dishwasher, fridge, and microwave and full size stove and oven. They have plates, utensils, coffee maker...anything you may need. The bed was very comfortable and tons of closet and dresser space! The pool is salt water and very clean and taken care of. The beach is just steps away from the main rooms and across the street from the units located there. We enjoyed our stay and felt very safe. We were given a parking hang tag to put in our car for parking right across the street. There is free laundry to use across the street behind the unit and they provide laundry soap in the unit. ||We would definitely come back here! We met Brent and Jeryl that are members and terrific people! There were only 9 chairs to take out onto the beach so we ended up getting up at 6am to "claim" one for the day! There are plenty of higer up lounge chairs around the pool so no worries on getting somewhere to relax! ||We will be back!...
