My stay at the Beach Club was fairly disappointing and frustrating. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and somewhat modern. However, this property is lacking the proper management that would make it truly comfortable with minimal effort. The smoke detectors are missing, with wiring hanging out of the ceiling, the bathroom sink was cracked, there was sand all over the floor when I checked in, the ceiling fan was dangerously loose, and there were only knives in the kitchen (defeating the purpose of having a kitchen). The A/C is effective, but very loud and you can hear the A/C units and bathroom sounds clearly from adjoining rooms. One of the main deal-breakers for me was that I decided to stay here specifically because they have a pool and hot tub. When I arrived, the onsite manager claimed that both “just recently” broke and would not be operational during my stay, though I suspect they haven’t been working for a while. Even if they did break after I made my reservation, it would have been nice to have known before I arrived. Overall, this is not a terrible place to stay, but I didn’t appreciate the dishonesty or sloppy upkeep. It’s a pity given that they wouldn’t have to do very much or spent a lot to make this a much more comfortable rental. Given the price point, there are significantly better options in the area. Edit: lowering to one star because they promised me adequate compensation for the pool closure at checkin and did not honor it at checkout

This place is a gem. Our room was like a 1 bedroom apartment and came with nearly everything you could need. Washer, dryer, pots/pans/utensils. They also provided beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels. Pool is nice and well kept but no need to use it when the beach is directly across the street. There is a trolley that takes you up and down the island so you can skip driving if you choose. The only 2 "negatives" about this place is check in and the dishwasher. We went directly through the property to book and they sent a link for a digital key that would notify you when your room is ready. Only this property doesn't use digital keys and you have to check in at the desk before 5pm. Annoying but not a big deal. And the dishwasher soap dispenser didn't work. Again not a deal breaker. If I could make 1 suggestion for the property it would be to update the furniture on the terrace. There are great views of the sunset from there but the outdoor furniture is in pretty bad shape Overall, wife and I had a great time at this place and we would definitely stay here again(planning to in fact). Highly recommend!

We're from Oklahoma and have never been to Anna Maria Island in Florida. Flew into Tampa and took a $70 Lyft directly to The Beach Club. Upon arrival we were greeted by the office staff. They were nice and helpful to us and they put us in apartment #2. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. It's very clean and smelled wonderful. Our first impression was a good one and remains excellent. The pool and hot tub are both crystal clear clean. The beach is located directly across the street from The Beach Club. The sand is amazingly soft, white and cool to the feet. The water is surprisingly clear and beautiful. The free trolley stops almost in front. You only have to walk about 20 yards. We never felt the need to rent a car, motorcycle, bicycle or golf cart. The trolley goes from one end of the island to the other end and no matter where you get on, it's totally free. This is going to be our vacation spot for years in the future. It's safe and quiet at night. I highly recommend this place to stay.

I am NOT a germophobe. But, when coming to this resort.. I had very high hopes... that did start off GREAT. The kitechen was beautiful, there was a great seating place and dinner table, and the bedroom looked to be in good condition as well as the bathroom. After spending only a couple of hours we noticed many things that were disturbing in terms of cleansing. There was a towel hung up on the back of the bathroom door (we didnt put it there and it was clearly dirty with stains, the trash was not emptied, there were mold in one of the bowls in the cabinent, AND there were crumbs ALL over the "clean" folded sheets. To top it all off, we found a DEAD LIZARD INSIDE THE ROOM! On the other hand, the outside of the place looks decent and they do have a pretty nice looking balcony roof top space where you can sit up and listen to the ocean that is right across the street. They also do have a pool and jucuzzi that was great to be in and was very relaxing. Unfortunately if you've been reading, the noises around the building are CRAZY. I woke up at 7 am to a bunch of ladies basically screaming in their rooms after we were told to keep quiet. Not to mention that were were told not to take our two pets.. that are a rabbit and hamster WHEN WE SAY A BIG DOG TWO DOORS DOWN. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND! Go right across the street from thisd place to the Anna Maria Island Inn. I have been there too and it...

Avoid this place at all costs. My first stay the air conditioning leaked all over the living room for 2 days. I called them the night arrived to let them know and no service technician ever arrived to solve the problem. I indicated I didnt have cell service and to call the room when the technician came. The resort stated the reason nobody came was because I didnt answer my cell despite me explaining had no cell service. The living room has tile so it was down right dangerous to even walk around the room. I actually fell one night when I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. They compensated me by giving me a complimentary stay for 1 night on my next visit. Not 2 nights.. So i decided to give the resort another chance using the gift certificate I recieved. This time when I put my credit card to verify for 1 dollar. They overcharged me 25 dollars. When I went back into the office to dispute the charge the lady with dark curly hair was extremely rude about it and said I would get a refund that day which was Saturday. I called my bank on Monday and there is still no credit issued. It's now Thursday and I still have no pending credit. I wont be going back to this resort ever again. I will also be discouraging anyone I know from going to this resort. My entire family loves Anna Maria island but we wont be going to this resort ever again. Consider...
