I placed a order online for curbside pick up and I am so unhappy, First of all the lady that I spoke to was very nice and very apoligetic but my problem was not her. In my order in special comments I put I also need to but a container of then it stopped I did not go back and proof read what I had wrote, It shouild of said I also need to purchase a container of gravy, My phone number was on my ticket order and they had to of seen it. The order person should of called me and asked what the conainer was. Also I did not receive my cranberry relish. To some people this may be trival but to me it was not becasuse I could not eat my meal. She offered to send me a small gift card which I told her that my intention was not to get free food I needed my food now which was thrown away. She told me there was a new person doing carry out but again that was trival. I asked her was she sure that my order was correct and she assured me it was, I told her I live 35 minutes from here and I cannot come back and again she said it was right. I spent over 40 dollars on 2 meals and all i got to eat was the green beans and the potatos because it had a smudge of gravy on them, I am so mad that this happened and this is the main reason people are trying not to go out anymore because customer service has gone to HELL in a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have no clue how to run a restaurant
Update: still clueless. Bob Evans corporate, if you're really interested in how your restaurant experience is, send people undercover in hours other than when they would expect you. I have a feeling that you have no idea how to do a process audit. Start with hospitality basics. Have a greeter/cashier. To wait more than five minutes to be asked about what you need is well outside any hospitality standard. There is never one here and I have a feeling this is a management decision, not staffing issue. Having your servers doing this takes away from them serving tables and refilling drinks, etc. The domino effect is evident here. People will remember the experience and not come back which exacerbates the lack of guests, which leads management to reduce hours, etc. You are working five times as hard to retain or gain guests because of one decision. Also, where is the evening manager. In the 20 minutes I was waiting for my order, no manager ever circulated tables, helped out at the register, heard any guest complaints or comments. Management has no clue about how the shift is going. It's sad, because this place is really clean and nice. See the pic of how empty and out of place the first impression is in the pic. I had enough time to snap it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBob Evans is really going downhill fast. Cooks and servers do not know the menu. In my last 4 times at Bob Evans I ordered Steak. According to the menu it comes onions and mushrooms. Only once in the last 4 times I got the onions and mushrooms when the meal was served. Most recently in Brownsburg Indiana I pointed out at the time I ordered make sure it comes with Onions and Mushrooms. My wife also ordered a chicken dish and asked that no Sause be put on the chicken. My wife and mothers order came out first and yep there was sauce on the chicken. When we pointed it out the server just laughed. Five minutes later my order came out, and yep no onions & mushrooms and no steak knife. I told her I wanted them and she laughed and I said NO I want them. Ten minutes later when I had ready managed to eat the streak with a table knife. Two teaspoons of onions showed up and no mushrooms. The sever just laughed again and said they were out of mushrooms. I pointed out they probably have mushrooms at the Kroger on the other side of the street. So when it came time to give a tip, I just LAUGHED!
Did the contact, still waiting to...
