Baymont by Wyndham Bryan College Station — Hotel in Bryan

I checked in last night 9/10/2024 and as soon as I walked in the lobby the lady was on her phone talking to someone on speak phone not a huge deal she had me wait then finished her conversation could have been the manger or something not a big deal.

I get to my room and the room is very nice I was actually excited until I went to the bathroom the toilet seat was very loose and there was no hot water again not all HUGE problems then I went to go to the bed and that's where the real problem was there was a dead Cockroach right next to the bed.

When I called the front desk the phones didn't work in the room and it kept going in and out so I called from my cellphone and the front desk lady kept talking about the hot water I said I'm not really worried about the water I want this cockroach gone and she literally told me what would you like me to do about that I said can you come clean it up she said NO I don't like bugs I said well im not going to do it she said let me call you back.

30 mins later I go into the front desk and again shes on the phone on speaker phone and shes like can I help you and said yes are you going to come clean it she said how I said idk bring a broom and dust pan just please clean it she straight up told me no and I said is the manger here she said no but she can call him I then asked to be moved rooms and she called him I waited another 10 mins and when she came back she said let's go look at this room I can move you to to make sure you like it I said is it clean no cockroachs then I don't care a room is a room.

She had an attitude in the end and I was being very nice and just wanted it cleaned I'll NEVER be back here as long as...

I recently stayed at the Baymont hotel and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The room was very comfortable and spacious, and had all the amenities I needed to feel right at home.

One of the things I loved about my room was the Directv service. It had a great selection of channels and I was able to catch up on all my favorite shows. It made my stay even more enjoyable to have something to watch in my downtime. Our kiddo ended up with food sickness from a place on the road so we spent more time in the hotel room than expected

Another great feature of my room was the fridge and microwave. It was so convenient to be able to store and heat up food in my room, especially for the unexpected time in the room. There is a Dairy Queen less than 5 minutes away so was able to get a treat when he was feeling a little better.

There is also a continental breakfast available. There was cereal, waffles, oj, honey buns, etc. The only thing missing was more Keto options like protein. However, it's free so can't complain about that too much.

Overall, I highly recommend the Baymont hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With amenities like Directv, a fridge, and microwave, it's easy to see why this hotel is a great choice...

My daughter recently got married and we had a lot of people, such as myself coming in from out of town for the wedding. We found out about 6 months before the wedding that it was on the same day as a home game so a lot of the hotels in B/CS were pre booked. I ended up getting two rooms here, and I kind of wish I would have looked around some more. I wasn’t super disappointed in the rooms, but for what they cost, I was surprised they weren’t cleaner, and nicer. They also did not have facial tissues in the room, and we did see several roaches. I do have to give kudos to Julia the night shift front desk person. I had requested two rooms together. They gave me 104 and 107, which were not really near each other. This made me uncomfortable as my two younger daughters were going to be one room, and my mother and I in another. My girls aren’t super young, but I don’t like them being so faraway because one is autistic. I spoke to Julia and she found us two rooms side by side which I was way more comfortable with. We stayed 4 nights, but were only there to sleep. I did notice they have a nice patio area with picnic tables and grills if you’re onto that.
