The rooms were clean, but the blinds were not good. You could see right into our room. They did address the best they could right away. We were disappointed that for the size of the room there weren't any tables or chairs. Also you would think that a "resort" would have a coffeemaker, but there wasn't one. We figured we could get our coffee at the continental breakfast that was advertised, but there wasn't one. When I called I was told that they don't have one during the Winter. The website does not indicate this disclaimer. In fact, there were several references that eluded that there was a breakfast during the Winter. Seems like false advertising.

A beautifully renovated hotel on the shores of Lake Cadillac. Spacious rooms and friendly staff make staying here an enjoyable respite from sightseeing and wine tasting. They have a heated pool and an abundance of outdoor seating with many fire pits ready for roasting s’mores or socializing around a comforting flame. We utilized the hotel as a home base for our motorcycle club’s national road trip and held the national board meeting in the large conference room. Helpful and friendly staff helped us with the details and made the trip smooth and effortless. Thank you to the staff! You will not regret a stay at the Lake Cadillac Resort!

We enjoyed our stay. The room we stayed in was clean and reading some past reviews, our room must have been recently renovated. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, our room had view of the lake. We did notice that walls are thin, and noise can easily travel - not a problem during our stay, but it could be an issue depending how full the resort is and how considerate the guests are. Based on our experience I can highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Lake Cadillac Resort while attending the Hoxeyville Music Festival. Other than it being a bit far from the festival, it was a great place to stay. Great location, right on the lake. Huge area out back along the shore with plenty of tables and chairs to hang out at. Our double room had direct access to the indoor pool. The rooms and public areas looked like they were recently renovated...new bathrooms, flooring, painted walls, fridge, microwave, beds etc... Therefore, the room was very clean. There was also plenty of shampoo and conditioner, which was great. Another thing was our room was in the back, hidden from the busy highway….so traffic noise was not an issue, plus our vehicle and bikes were hidden from view. The pool and deck area were very warm, which was really nice after a cold evening at the festival. The pool itself, however, wasn't renovated---the pool lining was peeling off, but other than being a bit unsightly, it was no big deal. The pool deck area was very nice and clean, however. Staff was friendly and helpful.||There were a few things that kept me from giving it a 5... Mainly the breakfast. VERY minimal as hotel breakfasts go. If management is reading this, providing a waffle machine would go a long way. Seems like standard issue for most places. Also, keeping the fruit bowl well stocked. Stocking some yogurt too. We actually decided to go out for breakfast one of the days, which we almost never do when hotels offer breakfast. Also, our room had no privacy at night….i noticed some rooms had vertical blinds, but for some reason, our room had shears hanging in front of our window. So not only was it see-through at night with the lights on, they also let a lot of light in during the morning. You need to fix that. And a few nit-picky things like unsightly wires and cables hanging from the TV, bathroom door sticking, like seriously sticking, and the lack of a chair(s) (and table) in the room.||Overall, i recommend staying at the Lake Cadillac Resort. There was a wedding taking place over the weekend, and my wife and i agreed it’s a great venue for a wedding. And lucky for us, the wedding party was all middle aged and older folks, so they...

Extremely disappointing experience with hotel and staff. There was a private group staying at the hotel hosting a party withDJ. We had a room facing the tented area. All fine but it was loud. Paperwork when you sign is says quiet time after 10. In writing and has to be signed! It was so loud I could hear it through ear plugs. I went to the lobby at 10 and asked, politely, when the music would stop. Basically got a shoulder shrug. My husband went to talk to the DJ and he said he was booked until 11. At 11:10 I went back and waited for the person who was apparently in charge, Lacey?, she said they would be done in five minutes. I pointed out that it was after 11 She said I was the only one complaining. Really? It’s after 11 and a DJ is blasting and I’m the one that’s wrong? She also basically asked if I thought I was more important than a private party. I was very polite. Did not raise my voice but I pointed out that we should never have been assigned a room near a party. It’s not good business to mix the groups. I asked for another room. She said they were full and I said I know that’s not true because my brother in law canceled their room due to hospitalization. Parking lot was not full by any means, so I felt like I was being seen as a problem and not as a person with a legitimate concern. I went back to my room and music didn’t stop until almost 1130. ||This was not the only negative aspect to the stay but this was enough to say never again. I can handle inconveniences but needing a place to get a nights sleep is nonnegotiable. Staff attitude matters and I felt this was all handled...

This place is a sorry excuse for a hotel! We experienced a dorm room type atmosphere with college kids partying and walking half naked in the hall ways. Music blaring with doors open from the other guests. We asked the front desk if they cut off the partying at some point and their response was "Oh no, they go all night long". After realizing we would be unable to sleep in this portion of the hotel, they moved us to another area of the hotel. We hauled all our bags over there only to find a disgusting dirty room with bed unmade, towels used, garbages full and condom wrapper galore. We then went to the desk to ask for a refund. Even though we had paid in cash, they said that only the owner could authorize a refund. We left anyway not knowing if we'd ever get our money back. After contacting them the following week, twice, the owner finally called and apologized and said he would send me a refund. 2 weeks later I called back. He again returned my call 4 days later. He didn't even remember our first conversation and said he would send out our refund right away. I am writing this after 2 more weeks waiting for a refund. I don't expect one anytime soon. The owner clearly does not care about his patrons or business. I beg you to spare yourself major disappointment and avoid this run down, dirty old motel that allows college kids to run wild throughout the hotel. What a disgrace! I just wish there was a place I could post the video of the loud music throughout the halls, half naked co-eds running wild and pics of that awful replacement room they attempted...
