Cone Lickers — Restaurant in Cadillac

We stopped in this shopping center to pick up a pizza from BC Pizza. It's customary for RVers to park in the least crowded part of the parking lot, so we parked on the opposite end of the building. We had just driven 11 hours and were waiting for our pizza to be done (which they told us would be around 25 minutes). A woman from this shop came up to our RV (I didn't get her name, but it was probably Karen) and said, "can you explain to me why you're parked in my parking lot?" I said we were waiting for our pizzas, gesturing toward BC Pizza. She asked why we we're parked where we were and I said it was the most convenient spot for us to park while we waited (we have a 38' class A towing a car). She continued to question me and repeatedly ask why we were there and demand that we couldn't stay overnight. I said, again, were waiting for our pizza and that we had no intention of staying the night, we already had somewhere to stay. She asked for my name and continued to berate me. Finally, she left and we watched her walk down to BC Pizza.

After about 10/15 minutes she came back and said she went down there to confirm our order and that it would be done in 10 minutes. Then she went on to say that people think they can park in the parking lot overnight and that she owns the parking lot. I said I understood, again saying we weren't staying, and she interrupted saying she's just trying to have a conversation. She was not having a conversation with me, she's cutting me off, not interested in listening, and being very rude without reason. I again said we were waiting for our pizza and we aren't staying the night, we have somewhere to stay. She wouldn't listen, she kept cutting me off and berating me about how the cops will come and that we can't be there and she will tell us to leave/call the cops on us. At this point, my husband got pretty annoyed at how she was treating me and he tried to pull me back in the RV because this woman obviously didn't want to listen to what we have to say, even after CONFIRMING OUR STORY. She became belligerent and started yelling and cussing at us telling us she will call the cops on us. She told us we have half an hour to leave, and I said, "you literally just said our pizza would be done in 10 minutes."

This Karen came up to us with no interest in what we had to say. I explained multiple times that we were waiting for our pizza and we didn't need somewhere to stay. I answered her questions and she still yelled and cussed at us, even AFTER confirming our order with BC. We in no way had our RV unpacked for the night. Our jacks weren't down, our curtains weren't drawn, our slides weren't out. We were sitting in the driver and passenger seats, WAITING FOR OUR PIZZA.

Bummer, totally disappointed!! Ordered 2 Oreo snow swirls (flurry) and I asked if it was real Oreo cookies or not. I was told it was and the menu board shows it as "Oreo" however it was not even remotely close to Oreo. It was the chocolate sandwich creme cookies that are sold as off brands in stores. To be completely honest it was worse than the off brand flavor. We ordered 2 small Oreo snow swirls at $7.25 each. We also ordered 2 small hand dipped chocolate ice cream cones. $5.25 each. The absolute worst chocolate flavored ice cream. Just flavorless in comparison to hudsonville brand or the like. To pay over $25 dollars for 4 small items, that were all low quality is just unacceptable! So buyer beware!! Sadly Cadillac has no great ice cream shops. Lake City is where I will go from now on. At least there it's worth the cost. Unfortunately this ice cream shop is a dupe! I will say the kids working were very friendly and I did not...

If there were an option I would take away the one star I gave this place.Horrible service from the two servers that were there weren't friendly at all and certainly not helpful. They did not give us any of the toppings we PAID for and so much icecream that we couldn't carry it to the car. It was in boats and not one of the dingy servers segested that the boats might be to small for our order just handed each of us these monstrosities that were dripping over the sides and tipping over and spilling all over our clothes and the floor.We got over to the mailbox outside and my husband went back in for big cups and still couldnt fit these big messes into those either .Had to go across the street to the gas station where they were way more helpful in giving us paper towel and such to clean this mess off from us .Was disgusted with everything about this place at this point.
