Upon check - in I was met by a rude, racist and unprofessional front desk person named Mark. And his associate Gab. After asking for a written guarantee that they would be releasing the unnecessary deposit ON MY PREPAID ROOM, upon my check out and not hold it for a ridiculous number of days. This man who was a MINORITY told me that he was ā€œsick of my attitudeā€ and REFUSED TO CHECK ME IN ON A PREPAID ROOM. Of course he got the manager, Rena, who still charged my card $50, which lets me know, THEY DO NOT HAVE TO CHARGE MY CARD, its a choice.

Both Mark and Gab need cultural sensitivity training, customer service rehabilitation, and a few days off without pay to readjust THEIR ATTITUDE. You do not refuse service to PAYING CUSTOMERS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE. Get over it!!! The fact that both of these employees were minorities blows my mind. It is APPALLING!

**Aside from this experience the rooms are actually pretty nice. Very clean. The bed was comfortable. I may recommend with caution. The District Manager did respond appropriately and the manager Rena, was kind and immediately knew what to do and how to do it. Employees need to understand their bias opinions and attitudes can absolutely affect a brand, your colleagues and the overall reflection of a business. You essentially become a liability. And that becomes a fireable offense. Think better. Do better. Keep your...

I thought it was a good hotel in a good location for my needs. Staff are friendly and helpful. The deli 1 minute walking from the hotel makes a great breakfast. I'd recommend the place. Having said that, the 1* is because every single night it's a fight to get online. The wifi is terrible, after 24 hours you have to sign in again and you get a "The Wi-Fi you are using (Sonesta Guest) may require you to visit its login page." When you click connect, nada. Every night I've had to use a different workaround. Neverssl, reusing the previous connect page URL, etc. It always takes 15+ minutes of tinkering to get online. My brother is experiencing the same thing using very different hardware. We're both very familiar with computers and troubleshooting. I travel with a roku stick and that has proven impossible to use here. Internet is such a critical part of business travel guys, so hopefully this is just a temporary issue and we're here for the wrong 8 nights. I've traveled over 1k nights for my job and this is a first for me, we're talking bottom of the barrel for how bad the wifi is for someone who has checked into a...

They may see like they are cheaper than SureStay and others but then you are charged extra for parking, extra for breakfast, and a hefty fee for pets and make you have a bottom floor room if you do have pets. On top of this, unfortunately our room had some rather disgusting areas! I’m so disappointed because when we were here a year ago the quality was much better which is why we returned. There is black mold all around the shower, the housekeeper did not clean out soap chunks, hair and a yellow stain from the tub, there are streaks/fingerprints, specks on the mirrors. The bed and towels are clean at least. The room had a slightly off smell when we entered too. The door to the room lets in all of the hall noise. Sonesta needs to focus less on tacking on hidden fees and more on quality. The way we were treated was stingy. They listed a bunch of conditionals and fees as our welcome. At least for pets there are large sections of grass for them to get in a good bathroom break. The convenience in location is great. This place has so much potential. I hope for the future guests things...

I like this hotel,,I've stayed here 5 different times over the year's. This was a Marriott or other franchise name the last decade (2010-2020) . I popped in sometime back. I just wanted to add a compliment and a review since I stayed here since. Parking is plentiful,,you are close to a Wells Fargo bank,,Mini Market,Drive thru eatery and 2-3 gas stations. The room I stayed in was very clean,,the bed linens,, pillows were to my liking. There's a couch, desk, chair, AC/Heat and a petite bar area. The hotel spoils you with a coffee maker,(pod) Lipton tea bag's and Cream. No complimentary bottle water though. They do have a little convenience store next to the register desk. The bathroom is spacious enough. There's no bathtub,,but they do have a glass sliding door shower. . There's also stairs and elevator's. Yes I would recommend this property,,close to the freeway and residential neighborhood if you are planning to visit anyone close by. I uploaded a picture.

Five stars because Sonesta was exactly as I expected for a reasonably priced and pet friendly hotel. My husband and I stayed 4 nights, with our two dogs and had a perfectly nice time. Everyone who worked there was friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean, and spacious (two queens), and the lobby/common areas are have lots of places to hang out. Behind the hotel is a large grassy area for dogs, and either this hotel only had super courteous pet owners, or the hotel maintains that area because it was almost pristine. We were lucky enough to arrive on the night they were debuting a new cocktail, and enjoyed some yummy food and said cocktail. Special shout-out to Melanie and Ramon, who were truly wonderful and so welcoming. The hotel id situated is a shopping area, so there are plenty of food options within walking distance. I’d absolutely stay here again.
