I give this restaurant 5 stars alone on Thai food. But I take away 1.5 stars for the way they mislead the customer on their pricing. They don't tell you that it's extra for protein. This is odd bc most Thai dishes have protein- it's rare they have only vegetable. So for my pad prik king- which is just green beans and (usually served with) pork- it is priced on the menu for like $12.99 but then you get an added charge of $2 for the pork. This was like this for the pad Thai as well. I understand charging maybe a dollar more for pricier proteins like shrimp but to not already have basic proteins like chicken beef and pork already included in the price is absurd. Im never going to order pad prik king without protein bc then it would just be green beans. Who orders that with just the beans? Also another half star off for their lack of servers. It seems like there is just one lady who takes your order etc so it took forever to get our order in and also get the check. I really did enjoy the food here. Probably one of the better and authentic Thai restaurants in Ventura county but the way they charge for their dishes leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We might be...

Had dinner with a friend Thursday night - not busy at all; a few tables and Togo orders going in and out. We were seated quickly and got our orders taken from the waitresses who were very nice. Looking at the menu we were a little confused with some of the items, like Tom Kha Ramen which I eventually decided on: my friend had the Tom Yum Ramen w/ seafood. We also ordered a calamari appetizer. All three dishes did take a while to come out, but the wait was worth it. We were super surprised by how everything tasted. The seafood option came with fish, shrimp, scallop, and squid(not sure). Although the ramen portion could have been a little more, we were still satisfied with the dish as a whole We agreed that the soups were the best part, flavorful and delicious. Other mentions - decor was pretty cool! A bit on the...

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant that serves a variety of dishes from Peru and Thailand as well as a couple other countries. We were greeted by a nice hostess who really needed to iron her shirt. We ordered chica morado for our drinks and were disappointed, they tasted watered down and the flavor was not correct. So I ordered a boba thai tea and this was good. Our food did take awhile to come out and the servers seemed quite rushed. Our appetizer was good, the potato was cooked well and the sauce had a little bit of spiciness to it. The lomo saltado was delicious; the meat was tender, the fries had a good crunch and the accompanying green sauce was divine. The pad thai on the other hand was just ok, the flavor was fine but it felt like it was missing the freshness that comes from lime and the...

A Hidden Gem in Camarillo. Today was my first visit to Thai Peru. Deep set into a shopping center at the edge of town, is a very tasty restaurant with all your Thai favorites and much more. I tried the Pad Woo Sen, with tofu and it was loaded with fresh and tasty vegetables as well as delicious silver noodles. The tofu added a great dimension to the dish. We were quickly greeted by lovely Thai hostesses in traditional Thai apparel and seated promptly. The whole dining experience was awesome. We had small chicken and shrimp pie appetizers which also were delicious. My wife raved about her drunken noodle dish. An overall great place to visit. Can't wait to return and try the Chicken Satay. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere charming.
