I have stayed at this establishment several times and have had pleasant experiences. I arrived on 9-2-2021 and upon entering the room found a dead moth and two dead bugs by the door. In the evening I went to plug in my cell phone charger at an outlet near the floor at the bedside table. Surprisingly there was a white powder clearly visible sprinkled under and around both beds (? diatomaceous earth?). I spoke with both the leaving and arriving clerk and neither knew what the powder was. One did come to the room and stated "Servpro" does our bug management. "I don't know anything about it."There were many bugs clearly visible in the powder. Many human hairs were visible on the flat part of the bed skirt when I examined it.
I was offered the last room in the hotel but found to two people smoking right outside the room. The air conditioner takes the smoke right in the rooms. We have had problems with this at this hotel before. I asked them to move to the smoking area and although they said they would, they didn't move. I spoke with the clerk again and decided to stay in the first room after completely inspecting the bed. I asked that the entire bed be changed the next day and the white powder and dead bugs be cleaned up. I felt housekeeping deserved to know what powder they were dealing with. I am not sure this hotel is aware of a material safety data sheet.
There was a lot of mold or water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom and just outside the bathroom. No one cleared up the dead moth of two dead bugs by the door, so clearly the entire room was not vacuumed. I noted many dead bugs behind the refrigerator and TV stand. There was 1/4 inch gap at the corner of the door, which I suspect was the origin of the bugs.Returning the second night, there was a good-sized spider in the bathroom.
This is an epic fail for this hotel. What guest wants to see pest control powder all over the floor. My stay should have immediately been comped with a huge apology. I got neither. There is a new hotel coming in Paris, TN and we will probably move to that hotel when it opens. I'm still hoping to have my...
Read moreI honestly wouldnât send my worse enemy here. Iâm shocked at the reviews because my stay was nothing in comparison. First off, I was traveling through here on my way to Maryland (late July) and couldnât find any hotel that had availability nearby and was exhausted from driving. I settled here, but the pricing was outrageous. I believe my total came out to $180-190 for one night. It looks like a motel and you enter from the outside. I wish I could attach photos in the review, because I took photos for that purpose (will try to do so if given the option). I walked into demolished lamp fixtures, stains on the sheets and floors, marks all over the wall, and a chewed up front door from, likely a dog. All throughout the night I kept waking up to the smell of dog urine (from previous hosts I assume) - it was so bad. The smell was overwhelming. The interior of the motel itself apart from all I mentioned, you could tell, was nicely upgraded and almost made it appear nicer than it was. If it wasnât for everything else, I wouldâve believed it had potential to be a nice place. But in no reality, should they ever have priced that place at the cost of what I paid. Would never return.. feel I shouldâve just slept in my car. Iâm not saying any of this to be mean, I genuinely felt this way and it is my...
Read moreGreat place to stay in this neck of the woods. The missing star is because I agree with the reviews that say maintenance could be improved. Furniture in rooms were dustyâ but bathrooms and beds immaculate. Itâs obvious that time is being saved by ignoring low-touch surfaces. Refrigerator needed to be defrosted. However, it would be hard to find a more friendly and accommodating staff. Bonnie broke out the private tea-stash for me when she found out that Iâm a Tea-LoverâŚ. that was after Sarafina showed me the regular tea DRAWER at the self serve station. I was in tea-heaven! Finally a place where tea is given the same respect as coffeeđThe complimentary hot breakfast that Sarafina whips up with made-to-order scrumptious Belgian waffles starts and ends at people-friendly times 7-10am. Ample parking. Clean, sparkling poolâpool area clear and uncluttered. Uncluttered and cozy Reception area. Guest restrooms less than 20 steps from front door âa true blessing for long-distance travelers. Great location, Dollar-storeS across the street and Walmart 1 mile away for âforgotten stuffâ & several fast food restaurants within 1/2 mile for...
