Fabulous portions; excellent value; kind, professional and fast service, beautiful restaurant. Don't be afraid to explore the menu and try something new. it's hard to go wrong here unless you are one of those picky types of people. Staff is very hard-working. They deserve good tips. Their base wage is not enough for their efforts. One of the most amazing things on the menu is chile relleno. You would be really surprised. It's a hidden gem in the menu. It goes great with a few shrimp tacos with lime 🍋‍🟩. Tacos Mexicanos with carnitas is amazing. Try horchata. It's a great drink. Not on menu. One of my favorite restaurants ever, maybe number one. The other secret is adding some pico de Gallo to your salsa and mixing it together and getting some deep fried "flour" chips instead of regular tortilla chips. They are not on the menu. They are not expensive. Instead of the complementary tortilla chips, they cut flour tortillas into fourths and deep fry them freshly and bring them to you and they are soft and delicious and amazing 🤩. Then dip that into the salsa mixed with the Pico de Gallo and alternate with queso and yeah 👍💯 delicious 🤤 💜 I have not tried it yet but there is this thing that my friend got called molcajetes. I would say it's worth trying if you are being adventurous or doing something to go all out for a celebration or something like that. I still want to try it. There’s no debate that the food is good here. The cheese dip is really good. But watch your ticket for extra charges. If they can’t understand what you are ordering they need to get an interpreter. At least that’s the excuse they gave us when we were overcharged in our bill, one more than one occasion that we ate there. I ordered water with lemon. They charged me $1.00 for the lemons. I’m not even kidding you! I told the manager if they charge for lemons in the ice water tell me first. Secondly, they charged me the price of the dinner entree when I ordered the lunch entree it was lunch time. I really didn’t notice till I got to the register and only had two lunch entrees and waters and my bill was way higher than the price on the menu. They were still trying to charge me anyway until I had to call the manager over to get it straightened out. He didn’t seem too surprised nor did he apologize so it makes me wonder how often they do this and people just don’t notice? So people a heads up to look over your tickets...

Tried this place on a whim for lunch on a work trip. The interior looks really cool and has a nice, more open sort of layout. The server was professional and very attentive; however, the food was not good.

Out of everything we tried, the fresh guacamole was the only thing that had flavor. The cheese dip was very runny even after it cooled. Everything else was over cooked, really dry, and horribly under seasoned. I was dousing my carnitas street tacos with their house made Tomatillo salsa which had good flavor, but the carnitas was very bland considering it's pork that sits in a broth.

They have "bar" in their name, but they serve absolutely no alcohol.

They seem like they've been at that location for a while and I'm sure it was much better at one point, but present day, I wasn't impressed enough to ever consider going here again. There are far better places in Dixson, and sadly, it's worth the extra hour drive down Hwy 70 just so you don't have...
