I had called about two vehicles they had listed on their website. One was a Silverado I have been trying to find in that color and all options I wanted for awhile and an F150. One Silverado they didn’t have on the lot yet since they had just bought it and the F150 as well. So I kept scrolling finally found another Silverado exactly how I wanted it. I called to confirm and yes it was still there. So I go up to buy the truck, I had a great trade in with tires that had more tread than almost every single used truck they had and not a scratch on it. It was a newer truck I’d had just over a year so I understood I’d probably carry a little over but not as much as I did. They offered me 4500$ less that what average trade in was for the truck... that did not make me happy. So they kept trying to keep me at the lowest price they could. Anyways I buy this blue Silverado I have been doing my best to find. I have had the truck a month and the alignment is horrible which I haven’t drove it maybe 5-700 miles tires in the front already need replaced. The biggest issue I have is they said it had a minor accident reported no air bags no major repairs etc so I was not to worried about that thinking well maybe it was a fender bender it happens. So fast forward a few weeks and I’m finally getting a chance to fully detail my truck and what do I notice but blood on the seat belt harness area and in the passenger visor along with splatter in other places as well. I am not happy about this. One because of the issue with the blood being there and two because now I have no clue what they told the truth about and They most likely will do nothing to fix the issues. Also truck has the Chevy shake to it already. They must not do a very good inspection on their used vehicles like they say they do. Also I asked for it to be detailed before I left the lot and it was merely just wiped off with a couple of armor all wipes very poorly might I add with funk and things still in easy to reach spots. I’m very displeased with their lack of attention to detail and ability to work with a customer to do the best for the customer rather than get the most money out of a sale. I know they want to make money but at the same tome they should care for the customer more than to let things like these mentioned...
Read moreI bought a 2012 Buick Lacrosse from Ray Smith's in January, 2019 for 12,500. I paid 10% down in cash and the sales tax, totaling 2400$. Barely 2 months into owning the car the transmission compleltey failed and has to be replaced. It's a 4000$ repair. Little did I know they didn't do that kind of work in their shop right next to the dealership, because I wasn't informed they only provide limited services. That would've been a nice peice of information beforehand. After I recieved the confirmation it was indeed the transmission, and not something electrical I went back to the dealership to tell them the condition the car they very recently sold me was now in. The sales manager has customer service awards on his desk and I thought that was a good reason to be optimistic about the outcome of our conversation. I'm still in the process of seeing how they're going to be willing to help me, but I'm very doubtful as of now. They havent done the things they said they were going to do. Not one thing. They told me to call them Tuesday 4/9 and they'd let me "know what they've found out". I called as planned. The sales manager "wasnt available", and never returned my call. I've called Wednesday 4/10 with the same result. I'm going to have to make another special trip to the dealership just to have a convo about where the situation stands. I bought a car from there desiring to purchase an American made vehicle from a local dealer but it has been an absolute nightmare. I highly recommend purchasing a car from one of the many other GM, Buick dealers...
Read moreWe brought our truck to be serviced and part of the service was to check the brakes. They asked if we wanted the brake fluid changed we said yes if the brakes were being changed. They called stating the brakes didn’t need to be changed. Here we are with the intent that we won’t have the brake fluid changed. They changed the brake fluid and charged us even though it was understood, we thought, that the fluid was only to be changed if the brakes were. When asked why the brake fluid was changed after explaining this, Dakota stated “well it has to be changed every 3 years 30k miles anyways.” That’s not their call to make and just assume we are still wanting that service done. I filed a better business bureau complaint and a complaint to the dealer. The manager called me back and was very unprofessional while laughing on the phone at us. He lied stating he was there for the whole conversation that was had with the service tech when we dropped the truck off. He helped one customer and went to the accounting woman after, therefore, he did not hear the entire conversation. Shady business was conducted and the manager was not only not helpful but unprofessional. I was the one that had to politely let him know I won’t be stooping to his level and arguing with him. We have seen how they conduct business and he can have a good night. We’ve been loyal coming here for service spending thousands of dollars to be treated like that. It’s obvious we won’t be coming back here. Others should just be aware of how things operate in the service department...
