Country Music B&B Studios — Hotel in Camden

⚠️ CAUTION ⚠️ I rented the ‘Elvis Suite’ for $1000/month for three months. Afterwards, I found out that others were renting similar rooms for $750/month. When I approached Ms. Holland about reducing my rent, she agreed. However, I came home from work one day, and the place was being renovated. It was entirely unlivable, so I was forced to move that same night, without being refunded the pro-rated amount I was owed. Ms. Holland said that ‘minor upgrades’ were to be performed, but this renovation was far from ‘minor.’ These people are greedy and do not have your best interests in mind. Be careful if you give them any money upfront. You may end up like me: without a place to live and without being refunded money owed to you. Proceed with extreme caution. Other than the greed, I found the property and neighbors to be comfortable and accommodating (when they weren’t constantly in my room, “renovating”).

I am not able to reply to owner’s response, so I am forced to ‘edit’ my review. By ‘editing,’ I mean ‘adding’ to the original review. The owner’s encouraged me to stay longer, as it was to their advantage. They never addressed the real problem: their greed. An agreement was made, and then broken. Money owed was not refunded. Of course this wasn’t meant to be ‘permanent lodging,’ though the owner’s encouraged me to fork out an additional $3000 in advance for an additional three month’s rent. Since they couldn’t get what they wanted, they chose to cancel their side of the agreement, without refunding money owed to me. Not only did I lose my rent money, I lost income from not being able to work nearby. Pure greed & a lack of human decency is what you will find here. BTW, if a review is written, but you don’t address the reviewer’s concerns, how have you helped answer their concerns/complaints? You haven’t. You just changed the subject. The owners are not good...

My husband and I came to enjoy our 11 year Anniversary. Mrs.Hollandade it so special for the two of us! She had homemade dessert ready for us in our room along with a very nice genuine card, also fresh snacks and a bottle of wine! The breakfast she prepared for us was absolutely delicious both mornings ( we were also able to choose what time we wanted breakfast ready. ) Breakfast was served to us right outside our door on our own nice little patio table! This was our first bed and breakfast so I was very nervous thinking about staying inside someone else's home, it was not uncomfortable at all nor did it even feel like I was in someone else's home! We had our own full kitchen inside our suite and restroom! We had our own door to go in and out of as we wanted! It has been the BEST little getaway! Highly...

It was so wonderful and peaceful! Real country living! The breakfast was like being back home. I had my breakfast served out on the patio. It was fantastic! The rooms bring these country singers back to life. I had the Roy Roger's room..it was so cool seeing photo's of him. It was like stepping back in time. This was an awesome experience to stay here.
