Carmi Motel — Hotel in Carmi

Charged me $99 a night. Only motel in this town but you be better off sleeping in your car or travel to a different motel. Old box tv, mold in bathroom, Paint peeling, bed bugs, roaches, no microwave, no heat and smells like dog piss and so much more. I ordered food and had it delivered and owner called my room saying no traffic or I would be kicked out. I told him I had food delivered no one even came in. I made the mistake of paying for a few days in advance because I didn’t realize there is actually motels in this condition that are open and in business. Looks like it should have been condemned years ago. After seeing bed bugs I checked out the same night and Since grayville wasn’t far I went there. He refused to give me back the money for the days I didn’t even use which was shady and unprofessional. I Stayed in to many places to count through out the states but I can assure you this is by far the worse! More shocking it hasn’t been shut down. So, I've read a bunch of these reviews and I can tell you there is ZERO chance that the proprietors of this hotel could ever do anyone wrong. I am a decorated combat Veteran and through happenstance I needed a place to stay in Carmi for a few months. I was suffering from extreme depression and not only did the owner Wadi and his lovely wife check on me and encourage me to be more active in my day, when they dicovered that I was in bad shape they housed my belongings and gave me a free ride to an Evansville hospital to get help. I am a truck driver that goes to hotels often throughout the United States and this is by far the worst one I have ever seen I could not believe I was able to sleep at this place how dirty it was the smell was completely outrageous and to be honest with you they have nothing there they don't even have a microwave for you to use don't waste your time go spend an extra 25 bucks and go get a decent room somewhere else...

Also the most important thing they say they have Wi-Fi but don't believe them they have no Wi-Fi in their rooms and if you're from another city there is barely any too kind of phone signal or at least that...
