Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Carmi

We were treated so unbelievably horrible at Carmi Dairy Queen. We went to through the drive thru and the lady who took our order was very short with us. When we pulled up to the window we confronted her and she acted as if she did nothing wrong. We asked to speak with a manager and she was standing right next to her and heard the entire thing. The manager (which was a young girl) said “she didn’t do anything wrong!” With a very disrespectful tone in her voice. We asked to talk to the owner and they said he wasn’t there but he’d be there tomorrow. We will be going up there tomorrow to talk to him. Something definitely needs to be done here. This is a joke! The town of Carmi is nothing but white trash!...

Kudos to the gang working here on a holiday. They're patient with me while I tried to give my order while a car screaming kids kept yelling louder and louder that they wanted something different than they had said 5 seconds before. They did forget something but I felt bad so I decided not to say anything, even after we came back through a second time for dessert - despite the fact that a couple of the rear seat passengers did not deserve it. Can't ever get an order right... burgers always dry with no flavor, once the make your sandwich they put it in the microwave to heat it up because it's been sitting out. I only go for the ice cream and they haven't flipped a blizzard for me ever. And half the time it's halfway melted. Honestly any other DQ around is night and day difference. The food actually taste good anywhere else. I would drive to Mcleansboro IL or Mt Vernon Indiana DQs before I will...
