PLEASE READ IN FULL! I know that almost everyone has great things to say about this place, but I do not. I had a tooth removed by Dr. Jake 2 months ago and he not only perforated my sinus, but he didn’t tell me, because even he didn’t know that it happened.. all because he was in a rush to get to the next patient. It felt like I was a hog off to the slaughter with the way people were filtering patients in and out and my service was incredibly unprofessional and I wish I had never went. Before I continue, please know that even now, TWO MONTHS after my extraction it isn’t healed! First, he tried leaning the seat back and got mad and stormed out of the room when I wanted to finish filling out the proper CONSENT FORMS, trying to rush me through it, even saying things like “they make it sound like you are gonna die from a tooth extraction! Hahaha!” I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, practically shoved out the door. My bleeding was so bad that I didn’t even have enough gauze to get home, and it continued for ~10 hours. I tried calling and asking for help and they acted like I was a junky looking for pills when all I wanted was help and I was hung up on. I went in for post op care a month after, because the socket wasn’t healed (still isn’t), I’ve had daily headaches in the temple of that side of my face that get worse when I speak, discomfort in my sinuses and my face/jaw, and sometimes I have slight numbness/muscle weakness around that eye. The staff was so rude when I went in that the assistant would not even look at me when I was speaking to her and she wouldn’t answer me when I asked questions either. Dr. Jake came in and seemed in a rush AGAIN and when he went to check the extraction site he poked around, said everything was fine and proceeded to tell me about how he had screwed up another patients extraction by doing the same thing to that poor man, puncturing his sinus cavity, and told me how that man had water floating around in his head when he drank! He dismissed EVERY SINGLE CONCERN that I had and barely even wanted to conduct the exam to test my sinuses, I’m assuming he was scared of my facial piercings, because he didn’t seem to want to touch my nose due to it being pierced and even commented on it. Long story short, please consider other options before you go here and end up like me. I’m 2 MONTHS post extraction and I’m too afraid to even have this looked at again because of how I was treaded at this place. I just hope that I don’t have something serious or permanent wrong with me because this place didn’t even do the BARE...
Read moreHad my wisdom teeth removed here 9 days ago. Roughly 6 days ago I went in thinking I had dry socket. This was verbally confirmed by the doctor who seen me but apparently never made it to my chart. I was told they could pack it but they weren’t going to and to call back if it continues. I called back 3 days later after having gone to the er for the pain. My teeth were ground down which helped the tooth pain but not the dry socket pain. I called again yesterday over the pain. I was told that I don’t have dry socket and if I do it must be from something I did. I have been in constant pain for the last 9 days and have been made to feel like I must be faking it or it can’t be that bad. If I’m not sleeping I’m sobbing from the pain and nothing helps. Often I wake up sobbing from the pain anyway. Now as a collage student and mom of 2 I am doing all of my normal activities while in such constant pain that I occasionally feel nauseous and cannot complete my tasks and forget driving. With pain radiating from my jaw up into my ear and temple it’s nearly impossible to drive during the day or withstand any about of light longer than a few minutes. I went here after having heard many good stories about the facility. I guess it just goes to show anyone can be the exception to the rule. Bottom line I wouldn’t wish this on anyone and definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone go here after...
Read moreI've attended this residence for 3 years and was lead to believe I was the problem. Now that I've attended else where. I've learned that my gum recession could be linked to the harsh cleanings I received every 6 months. I was told my brushing was the reason which is new since ive used the same method on myself my whole life but ok. I'm loyal and take well to my oral hygiene. The cleanings here are not pleasant at all. But the true reason that brought me to write this review is the retainers they provide. This would have been my almost 3 time getting them from here. They want to argue on how it should feel when I've had the braces and the pain. Retainers are not supposed to adjust your whole smile but to keep it the same. Comparing to previous and the attempted current retainers the front teeth are stuck out like a beaver and they expect me to wear them. Braces is cosmetic so insurance does not cover it. I don't want bucked teeth... so go else where. I'm expecting a refund from my wasted time. I never raised my voice but explain the common sense. And multiple employees kept asking the girl that was helping me if she was ok... it was unprofessional and made me the customer feel as if I was irate. It...
