Carpinteria Beach Cottages — Hotel in Carpinteria

The cottage's decor was so charming, bright, cheerful and large...great for a family! The sleeping loft upstairs has two twin beds, my son brought a friend and they loved it! Large kitchen, great for cooking but we opted to eat out while here. There are so many restaurants, Mexican, steakhouse, sushi, burgers...all at an exceptional value. The beach is a short walk from the cottages and perfect for boogie boarding, tossing a frisbee, volleyball or just hanging out. ||||The cottage has laundry, which we used to keep our luggage sand free. There is also plenty of parking, BBQ area and outdoor dining patios. The cottage is equipped with a coffee maker, dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. They supplied board games, boogie boards, beach towels (in case you didn't pack your own) and our stay was peaceful (no loud parties) and relaxing. We really could not ask for more at such a great price and will definitely be back.||||Keep in mind, it is a beach cottage so there is some wear to furniture and there were small ants in the bathroom but this was to be expected and was not an issue...

Where else can four or more people stay comfortably, by the beach, in a fashionable place for less than $300 a night? The beach cottages are well designed, have full kitchens and full baths. Ours had a sleeping loft as well as a separate bedroom, and a nice peaceful patio. There is a BBQ area, free parking, wi-fi, plenty of beach toys for borrowing in case you don't have anything. ||||Services are limited, but management is very responsive. Laundry is in each unit, so sandy trips to the beach are no big deal. The location of the cottages is great, it's not on the beach, but a short walk, as well as close to all of the restaurants and shops. ||||I give the cottages 5 stars because of the value, but keep in mind, this is not a hotel, is not luxury, and (while the neighborhood is peaceful and quaint) is not in the best neighborhood. For the money, it can't be...

My family rented 5 cottages while in town for a wedding. The cottages were perfect and every family member raved. The cottages were extremely comfortable, well-equipped, quiet, quaint and located easy walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. We didn't want to leave. I highly recommend these cottages and kudos to the owner for such a thoughtful and perfect redevelopment of the property. Spot on! FYI....the photos accurately represent...
