The Worker Bee Café in Carpinteria, CA, is a charming little restaurant that is definitely worth checking out. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with outstanding customer service that will make you feel right at home. The food is equally impressive, with a menu that offers a range of delicious options.
For breakfast, I highly recommend ribeye and eggs. The steak was cooked well and had a rich, savory flavor that paired perfectly with the fluffy eggs. The country potatoes were crispy and seasoned just right, adding a nice crunch to the dish.
The eggs benedict with toast was another standout dish. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce had a nice tangy flavor that complemented the dish. The toast was also perfectly toasted, with a nice crunch that added a nice texture to the dish.
The waffle and berries are a must-try dish. My daughter always orders this dish and they do a great job here at the Worker Bee Café. The waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. The fresh berries added a nice tartness that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the waffle.
And let's not forget about the mimosas. The full-glass mimosa was a great way to start the day, with a refreshing and delicious flavor that paired perfectly with the breakfast dishes. My wife and I love the mimosas here. It's one of the reasons we keep coming back.

Ordered the Ruben and fries via calling in my order. It took very little time for the food to be ready and the gentleman behind the counter was extremely polite. Between checking on drinks and checking on patrons he rang up my order in a prompt and courteous manner. I was asked if I needed anything to go with my meal napkins cutlery condiments etc.. and genuinely felt like I was important to him as a person not just a customer.
Once I was squared away with all that I needed I sat down to a perfect Ruben. Generous portions of meat and sauerkraut with an amazing dressing on perfectly toasted Rye. The fries were thick steak cut and light and golden with a touch of salt and black pepper making them delicious and perfect for mopping up the sauerkraut and dressing which had escaped while I was eating (i did mention the generous amount of everything in the sandwich...).
I am truly grateful for finding the Worker Bee and every chance I get I plan on stopping by for a meal.
5 out of 5 simply because the rating doesn't go any higher.
P.s there is public parking behind the cafe which is nice in...
Read moreBe aware when ordering Togo They charge you $1 for a Togo Charge. I mean, never in my life have seen such of thing I ordered my food. When I came to pick it up. The guy just hanged it out to me with out a bag. I guess they are trying to save money on TOGO supplies. I have work in restaurants industry for a long time, and my husband is a manager of a breakfast restaurant. I never seen a restaurant going so low Trying to save $$. And steal people's money by adding a TOGO charge in your Bill. Thinking the costumer will never read their reciept. I like to support locals restaurant. But I'm never coming back here.
#1 they charge $1 you for ordering Togo. Plus you don't even get your food in a bag. #2 I asked for some Salsa to eat to my food, I asked for a little bit extra. The guy said he can't give me anymore Because it's very expensive.
He should know the cost of doing business. I'm glad I tried this place 3 times and Everytime. I left disappointed. I will be taking my money...
