I WOULD ADVISE NOT EVER STAYING HERE!!! Not only is the place still "under construction " as it has been for a long long time, but the place stinks from nasty, dirty carpets and the so called manager is a coward, making his assistant do his dirty work. And by dirty work I mean handling complaints. The manager stole my deposit and that's why he would never return my calls. On March 6 2023 I checked in on the morning of March 7 I had an emergency and had to leave way before check out. I wasn't worried about anything except going where I was needed, therefore I didn't get my $50 deposit. A couple of weeks later I realized I had never called about it. When I did call, I got a call back 2 days later saying since I forgot it, I lost it!! Wow! Who does that? Not any hotel I have ever stayed at. So I waited a couple of days and called the hotel back myself and the so called manager answered. I told him who I was and that I'd be coming for my deposit, his first response was"well you forgot your deposit so I keep it" and I explained that I had an emergency and had to leave he said "it's my responsibility to pick it up. AND THEN! And then, he proceeds to say, after I told him I will be coming for my money, HE THEN LIES AND SAYS " well we didn't start taking deposits until March 12 so I don't know what you're talking about" I was almost at a loss for words because how unprofessional was that!? And so of course I called him a liar and he had the nerve to say to me "stay away from here you f*** b *" what a nasty,...
Read moreWhere to begin??? Well, first, we were put into a room that smelled so musty and the bar in the tub was hanging on by 2 screws, which ended up falling off into the tub. We reported it and were moved to another room which had some ants, smelled musty, porcelain was missing off the tub, bathroom linens were stained and dingy looking, the toilet would run every 42 seconds, yes, I lay in bed being kept awake all night from the noise, and counting 42 seconds in between the noise, pillows were flat when you lay your head on them, as if you had no pillow at all, and the bathmat was not thick and was nothing more than a hand towel! and the toilet sat so low to the floor, and excuse me, but when you wiped yourself, your hand would get wet from the toilet water. They may as well had made a hole in the floor for people to use! Had to move the desk out to get to an outlet. Upon checking in, the lady at the desk was very nice and friendly, and upon checking out, the girl was nice and friendly, but they had another clerk that was so unfriendly and wouldn't even smile. I told the maid the next morning, about the toilet, and she said she'd tell her boss, but when we returned that evening, the toilet hadn't been fixed, nor were we even given a report, so, we don't even know if she reported it. Now, for my 2 rating of the stay, was the beds were so comfortable! ashamed we were kept awake from the toilet noise!! Would not recommend. Sorry Quality Inn, but I'm only...
Read moreMy adult son and I had a restful night's sleep after a very long day of driving from SE Alabama. This lodging is very difficult to find the entrance as the small unlighted sign is hidden from view as you approach from the interstate. You can certainly see the large high illuminated sign from the interstate but to find the small unmarked entrance road is almost impossible. The entrance road is immediately before the Waffle House and actually appears to be their driveway but it does meander back to the Quality Inn. The front desk clerk was friendly yet efficient and we were soon checked into our room. The room was rather small but clean and inviting. The bathroom is large enough but the counter space is very limited with a built-in tissue container taking up a large part. But we made it work. The room's amenities are limited to a flat screen TV, clock radio (that didn't work due to an inoperable electrical outlet), ironing board and iron, hair dryer, and coffee maker. There isn't a refrigerator or microwave. Our room was also missing a luggage rack and plastic dirty clothes bag. The queen beds were very comfortable with four pillows each. The breakfast was better than most with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereals, etc. It was fresh, tasty, and well presented. I highly recommend this lodging for its comfort and value. I'm not sure if an elevator is available as we were on the first floor but I didn't see one...
