This place is awful, I called Wyndham Rewards to make a reservation for this hotel, for 6/17/18 I told them I would be at the property around 1-2am well the person making reservations made it for 6/18/18 and put that I would be arriving between 1-2am. Here's where things get bad I'm a bus driver we can only drive 10hr a day and work 15 total well I had put in my 15hrs by time I got here. Now after the reservation was made 6/18/18 and me arriving 1-2am in error the MGR of property called my number I have no idea how he got my number. He was very and started saying I'm not letting you check in I'm canceling your reservation I'm like whats going on he just keep saying I'm not letting you check in, I'm canceling your reservation. At this point I was not aware that the reservation was made in error. So I called Wyndham rewards back and informed them of what happen. So the called hotel and found out the reservation was made in error and change check in for 6/17/18. So you would think every thing was ok at this point. Well I wish considering now its like 1am I have been going for 15hrs or more. I get a call from front desk again I answered and hey I here now getting my stuff out and the front desk girl says I'm sorry my MGR said not to check you in I'm like what wait a min whats wrong now I'm tired no sleep and there not another hotel in walking distance I'm out of hrs I can't drive no where, and response to me was well my MGR said when he called you, you said you was going to get a lawyer and sue him or something like that. Well just to be Clear that was not said to him. So I said to her I need to know what the real reason is, is it my $47 dollar rate I get because I'm a travel agent or is it because I'm blk those are the only 2 options. So here it is 3am and have to sleep in a car when I had 2 reservation at this hotel is kind of crazy needless to say I will not be staying here again or any Wyndham hotel's and I'm going to get this in front of as many people as possible...
Read moreMy family and I are driving home from our vacation in Florida. After 12 hours on the road, we decided to crash for the night. Using my Wyndham Rewards I booked us a room at the Baymont in Cartersville. That was my first mistake. From the outside the hotel looks pleasant, my family waiting in the car while I checked us in. There was a gentleman in front of me, so I had to wait a few minutes, which wasn't an issue. When it was my turn, I was greeted by the front desk clerk saying, "Last name." No hello, sorry about the wait, nothing. When I needed to sign, she pointed to the paper where I needed to sign, but said no words. I also asked what time the pool closed and was told, "It's open now", again not what I was expecting to hear. Meanwhile, there was a person passed out in the lobby. Upon entering our room, I noticed that we have 2 light bulbs out, the TV doesn't really work (every channel has a lot of snow), and there are loose floor tiles and chunks of grout missing in the bathroom. My husband and I ran next door to grab something from the truck stop, upon coming back I overhead the front desk clerk answer another guest's questions very rudely. After making ourselves sandwiches to eat, I brought my daughter to the pool and noticed that the guy is still passed out in the lobby. I didn't want to say anything about our issues to the front desk clerk because it is obvious, she doesn't want to be at work and help her guests. If we weren't so tired, I would have left and drove to another hotel for the night. After spending the past two weeks in Wyndham properties and having excellent service, I am deeply saddened by this one property and was surprised that Wyndham has...

I have no idea how this place has anything more then 2 stars when I've stayed at 2 star hotels better then this place. Anyway where to begin. I've had these problems every time I've stayed here, I only keep coming back because the Country Inn and Suites and Holiday Inn down the road can be full. Knights Inn is literally hell.
So, the Staff comes by and knocks on your door 2 to 3 times between 6AM and 10AM if you are ready to check out. I can Understand 1 time. I can understand after 8AM or 9AM. Hope you aren't sleeping when they try to evict you 5 hours early.
The air is always dingy, last time I got a smoking room labeled as a non smoking room. Sort of standard practice in the budget hotel industry but you can at least clean the smell up a little, there was no effort made, also leading into point 2
THIS ISNT CHEAP, last time it was 75 bucks for a 2 bed. This time it was 107 bucks. They charge more because most the guests are truckers from the truck stops next door who are routinely gouged for prices. I expect a 100 dollar tier hotel room to not have old carpet, good will furniture, and wall stains. The luke warm "air conditioner" is an insult to the price.
Hotel breakfast is horrible. I've been to places where the only thing to eat is waffles, and fruit. Those were also sub 40 dollar a night places with roaches, thats fine you pay for that. This place has microwave biscuits, danishes, cereal and yogurt and thats it. Not worth 100 bucks.
This place wants your money. Do not give it to them. Goto the Country Inn and...
