The lady in the office was so RUDE. From check in to check out. We followed all of her ridiculous rules. She stopped my 13yr old and told her she couldn't go to our room to use the restroom without an adult. She ran us out of the pool at 15 minutes before check out. I tried to explain we were leaving at 10 til to go to room and get dressed but she wasn't hearing it. Then when I got to my room she had already locked us out at 10:45 15 minutes before checkout. I had to get her to let us in. Then she let me know she would never rent to me again.i had already made up my mind to never stay here again but she had no legal right to say this to me. I was a paying customer and followed all of her rules. She charged me 75 for one night and all we did was swim and sleep. Didn't bother anyone or do anything to be treated this way. From the reviews I read I'm not the only one to he treated terribly by the staff. I could understand if we did anything to deserve it but because 8 was letting my kids swim til 10 minutes before check out is ridiculous. And she came to the pool to run us off. I did tell her she was rude but that was all. I feel when you pay good money to stay somewhere you should be treated better unless doing something inappropriate which we did not do. And the rooms look nothing like the pictures posted here. They are old and run down not very clean. Definitely not worth 75 and night to be treated poorly and a not so clean room. Also people were knocking on our door scaring my children all night, people drinking at the pool in front of all the children and one guy walking down the back smoking pot at 10am in the morning. I believe she has more problems and things to worry about than us possibly checking out a minute late. Which we did not and had no plans on being out after 11am. I had it planned we put everything in the car and the kids were getting out at 10 til 11 to run change and we would be out by 11am. This lady had us locked out before 11am I'm not even sure that is legal. How can you lock someone out 15 minutes before checkout? This place is a joke and the lady is so RUDE!! I would never stay again. And for her to have the never to say she would never rent to me again when I did nothing wrong when she has drug addicts and drunks running around and has no problem with that. I have NEVER 8n my 38 years of life been treated the way this lady treated us. And when we checked in my daughter was excited and asking if we had a room. The lady said in a hateful voice yeah of you could stop interrupting. I should of left the but my kids wanted to swim so bad I tried to over look it. Terrible customer...

I wouldn't even give this place a star if I had a choice. My husband and our two kids were traveling through on our way home from Tennessee and we wanted to stay somewhere to enjoy some time together and not have to drive in the dark. We saw snow and the kids hadn't ever seen snow so they got out and played at the hotel we were planning on staying at. After they finished they were freezing and crying (they're only 2 and 4) and again have never seen snow before. I went in the hotel to talk to them about a room and to get my children changed. No one was at the front desk and I saw the bathroom to the right so I went in to go ahead and change my children. When me and my husband and the kids came out of the bathroom we were attacked. Literally by this man and woman I'm assuming owns this inn. They were talking to us in their language (probably not very nicely) and told us we were trespassing and how it was incredibly awful for us to use "their" bathroom. That they wouldn't walk into our house and just use the bathroom without permission which I can understand but they didn't even give us a chance to explain. They immediately told us not to leave any dirty diapers and etc like we are going to leave the bathroom a complete mess just because we have kids. We didn't have any dirty diapers or anything. I just wanted my kids in warmer clothes. Then they complained about the water from the ice on the ground. I can't control the weather outside.. but they got me a mop and I cleaned it up. I didn't get a thank you or anything.. Me and my husband both immediately apologized and they went on about how sorry wasn't enough. Even when we were trying to be nice and calm and apologize they were so awful and hateful. I for one will not be staying here. They will not get a cent of my money. I hope they are nicer to people who are staying there but they need to learn to be nice to people without knowing if they are staying or not. This just ruined mine and my husbands mood and honestly don't know where else to try to stay at. This happened all in front of my kids so the children saw and heard them yelling at us. I'm sorry we used their bathroom and disrespected them but no one was at the front desk and I had both of our children freezing. I just wanted them in warm clothes and then we could get a room to stay in and enjoy the rest of our night.. but now I have to find somewhere else to stay at. They were rude, hateful, disrespectful and mean. I would not recommend anyone staying here with...

Okay, where to start? First off 0 stars is all this place deserves. Second, move to the BUDGET INN in Calhoun GA if you’re staying here for work or anything in Rome. $250 weekly plus tax and that includes the pet fee. Much nicer!! There’s no WiFi. This place is crawling with dope heads and cops and ambulances are regulars every other night if not every night. Staff is rude and lazy. I am 18 weeks pregnant and because I have a dog they HAD to put me and my kids in a smoking room, on the BACK of the building, UPSTAIRS. Makes so much sense because when I take my dog out I can’t see my room or my kids and I have to drag him down stairs at 18 weeks pregnant. If you pay weekly, $286, you only get room service 2 times a week and you do NOT get the “free” breakfast. You have to pay nightly. Since I had a dog it was $75 a night. NOT $50 like the website says. We stayed our week and then paid nightly for three nights. Three days I DIDN’T get clean sheets or clean towels. When I called the front desk the man told me that I was responsible for letting them know we were on a nightly rate now and request room service, even though we paid THEM the nightly rate. Anyways, when we got here we got up to the room and there was pubic hair on our towel and when we went to exchange it they said no we couldn’t because we only get room service Tuesday and Friday. There was ants all in our bathroom. The shower wouldn’t drain. There’s dog hair in the fridge and a phone under one of the mattresses. Also there’s no latch to lock the door! We immediately asked for a refund or a new room when we walk in the room and they said no absolutely not. So we made the best of it. I took the blankets off the bed because of the cigarette holes burned in them and went and bought my own. I have looked into a hotel negligence lawsuit. And I am calling the health department.
