So I was debating giving this park 4 or 5 stars because the park is great, the office staff is great, and the neighbors are super friendly. There are cement slabs which I absolutely love and there were a lot of choices close by. So here comes the however, there are homeless and suspicious people that roam around or ride their bikes through the park, sometimes coming from the dumpster area, pool, and laundry. There is an RVer in the park that gives them the codes to the bathhouse and access to the pool which requires a key and $25 refundable key deposit that is not reallynot worth the paperwork because guests either let people in or place a rock by the gate. I actually saw "suspicious activity" (person on bike goes to the drivers side window of the car, then rides away) in the middle of the night because my site was in view of the pool. Random suitcase and belongings were left by the pool for almost a week because they were just left there. There is no gate on the front entrance or ranger that patrols the park at night, so it's open to come on right in. It is left up to the RVers to monitor which I wasn't too happy about because I am a guest and not my job to be neighborhood watch so I left nothing outside nor did I unhook my securrd scooter. I was a bit peeved because I wanted to ride around town but didnt want to take the chance of it being stolen so i just hung out bored or went for a swim. The poolS NEED to be redone and the water looked ew.... I went swimming once but just felt ew when I got out. That really sucked because Temps were over 100° and it was HOT. Would I return, probably, but not more than a week and will definitely ONLY return when the Temps are cooler. Happy and safe travels.

Palm Springs Oasis is very small but it was a great place to stay with just a 5-10 minute drive to downtown! We had originally intended to be here for 2 weeks, go to the other Palm Springs Thousand Trails park for 2 weeks, then come back to Oasis for another 2 weeks. Our plans were messed up by a mouse that decided to chew through one of our hydraulic lines stranding us in our spot. I will say the staff here were absolutely wonderful, accommodating, and empathetic during the entire debacle. We did have to pay for the 2 weeks we were supposed to be at the other park, but we were expecting that. I'll just say the staff here makes this place a 5-star! For the park itself, it is small but the spots are all pretty spacious. Plenty of room to park your rig and vehicle. The roads through are wide and turns are easy. All the spots are back-in except for one... which is the one we somehow managed to get as it was available at the time. The park is meticulously cleaned and everyone appears to keep their spots pretty tidy. I think I saw the pool guy here every single day. Two great pools and a hot tub! There's a little dog run in the back corner behind the bathrooms too. There's a little road noise from Date Palm Drive but not too bad. All in all, it was an absolutely great place to spend the holidays... and break down! I don't often give 5 stars, but this place deserves it from me with how helpful and friendly the staff was! We were staying here as part of our thousand trails membership. It was awful. We have a 35’ travel trailer that barely fit on the pad. Our car had to be parked so close to our camper that you opened the camper door right into the car- no space to be outside whatsoever. Someone and her husband came and yelled at our kids for playing outside-directly in front of our camper. You have to buy a $5 dollar laundry card ( and then load money onto it) to use the laundry and the machine only takes $5’s or larger - so plan accordingly. If you want to use the pool you have to give $25 deposit for a pool key. To get our camper in it’s spot the man across from us has to move his truck- which he jumped up and did immediately. Our neighbor was the absolute kindest man. Thousand Trails calls this resort “family friendly” …which really just means you can make a reservation here if you have kids. It’s probably fine for “snowbirds” with a small/ moderate size rig looking for an affordable spot in Palm Springs. I can not recommend it for anyone with kids or a larger rig.

This is a great location, staff is friendly, most sites are level however there is a serious Theft problem going on here. No gate and no night security, leave the place wide open and hi end bicycles cabled up as well as multiple e-bikes have been stolen while here this trip. Last year while here it was happening as well but this year i have been here 8 weeks so far and the theft is off the chart and i had my expensive bike Locked with a case hardened chain and they could not cut it but they stripped my expensive bike seat, post, luggage rack and bag costing me 500.00 to replace all ugh! Encore needs to step up and put a guard at the entrance or a gate possibly both otherwise put your expensive things in your rv at night or a vechicle thats alarmed. They love to come while its pouring rain or the wind howling so you can not hear them. One other issue here for the last two years has been this Rv park is in a great location with a beautiful view and on the Gerald ford side of the the park where the entrance is there is a long wall with a really nice green grass area thats at least 1000 feet long and trash constantly blows on the Grass. Problem is when the maintenance guys cut the grass they do not pick up they trash they just run over it and leave it there. This is the only location on Gerald ford that consistently looks terrible due to all the trash and when asked why they do this i was told last year that there was not enough help, well i am sorry but thats unacceptable and this issue needs to be addressed. That said we will be back next year as this location is in a good area close to everything and is reasonably priced compared to other Rv parks. This was our fourth year here but i feel like Encore needs to address these issues as this place is set in a winter paradise and should be treated and...
