Fountain of life — Attraction in Cathedral City

This is been one of my favorite places to go over the last several years. It's located in downtown Cathedral City and is currently undergoing some construction so the water is turned off but when the water is Flowing it's really wonderful and the kids are playing in the water during the summer months and people will lay nearby on their blankets and you know just relax or have picnics. It's right across from City Hall and a theater with around maybe close to 20 screens and a lot of parking and tons of restaurants and other businesses there. The city has done a wonderful job in getting businesses to come into the area and there's still a lot of open land there and I believe it was originally allocated to be a hotel but now it's area that's used for all different types of festivals and other activities in the city. I like taking my dog there for a walk and enjoying the the Green Grass and just letting her sniff everything and she always enjoyed the kids because she'd get lots of attention so it's a it's a special place for the city of Cathedral City and also for nearby visitors and out of town...

I love this fountain! I have visited here with my son for more than 15 years. It's so fun to walk into the fountain and feel it sprinkling on you! The mosaic work, orbs, and animals all around are so whimsical. It's relaxing and leaves you with a happy feeling when you visit this place.
