This is an extremely different experience based on where you are assigned on the site. First, I want the owners and staff to prosper! I have zero ill-will. About 1/3 of this resort should be non-occupant storage, with a sound barrier. Why? The resort abuts a CONSTRUCTION RENTAL YARD. I was warned about this when I visited on a Sunday prior to my stay...but I never imagined that multiple forklifts would be beeping, honking, grinding, and banging from 5:45am until 10:30pm five to six days a week. You know that backing up sound of a trash truck? Imagine ten of them. At once. From the pre-dawn till the dark of night. And that's not all! It's in the flight path...so planes as well. I write this because myself and others who stay here aren't well-off. I felt so horrible for the retirees who think they've booked a vacation somewhere restful, and this is what they get. And I'm sure the staff (I'm looking at you, Bruce, who casts himself in the role of on-site high school principal, lol) pays VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to anyone complaining so you'll get few HONEST reviews lest they lose the option of a better location the next season. But really...the southern 1/3 of the park should have a sound wall and be used solely for permanent storage. They don't even keep up the southern 'street', in addition to being loud, there's little shrubbery, no divisions between stalls, etc. It's ugly. This was an absolute, complete, utter disaster. I had to go camping in the cold windy mountains just to catch up on my sleep. Also, you know people use the hookups for drinking water, spend the $8/spot and install lead-free hose bibs. And Bruce, I hope you're well...you don't have to respond to this. Just let it float off into the ethernet ether. Ah and there's ZERO internet. I was better off never logging on because it was so completely infuriating, so if you have work to do, shows to watch, etc...it's not going to happen here. Oh and I realize it's unlikely there's a chance someone with mobility issues is in an RV, but there are zero accommodations in the restrooms or showers for those with disabilities. Y'all need to fix that before there's a lawsuit (and just...
Read moreHave been going here for 15 yrs but NEVER again! Not a good place anymore owners seem to have a timeshare racquet have raised prices so much for a very old past KOA with old bandaids all around the place! Is on old septic since is native tribe land leased by the park owners. Folks stay away our friends have been robbed here and smoke everywhere from open fires is not healthy they burn treated wood from arsenic! Also not very gay friendly either ok if you do not act gay or are. Many children who seemed so sheltered since they are mormon and evangelical from USA and Canada! My husband I are banned for talking about adult things with adults at the pool you see we are out proud sober married same sex couple and we were not welcome by other way to religious folks who 20 of them sit around getting drunk at happy hour reading the bible! Yikes guess you can call it Jesus juice but they were high balls! I think the lease is up soon and land is to valuable so owners seem to raise prices all over and even fines around the park!!! Maybe they should invest in some security so homeless do not wash their clothes so much in the jacuzzi and pool areas. They just drive in and walk in they have cameras up but to no use to stop all the feces and junk strung around this dusty park that smells like sewage with flies everywhere! If you are unlucky and have to pay exorbitant prices be sure to lock everything outside and your RV I see them going through cars at 4 am and stealing bikes and washing clothes in pool since I walk the dogs at 4 am. They loose elec many times not enough infrastructure for amount of elec with animals this can be dangerous if they are in RV alone and elec goes out! In old days lady manager would go through and unplug all RV's so fire would not start! We had to use our generators which make a lot of diesel noise and smoke when all are using them! Do not go here it will cost you big bucks for damage to your rig from lack of...
Read moreI wouldn’t recommend a stay here. We stayed several times over winter and spring on a four month trip, and even invited family to join us. Spent probably close to 21 nights between us. Thought this might make us a valued customer but sadly not.
Tried to extend what was now our final stay and they wanted twice the price for Coachella weekend despite telling us the week before there would be plenty of room, and no guests attending the festival would be booking in here. No first responder discount or continuation of the rates we’d be paying all along. Blamed “head office” and just basically dismissed us. So we opted to leave instead of supporting the price gouging because there was a festival half an hour’s drive away..
Washroom code for the women’s washroom wasn’t working one night and when I inquired in the morning was told “nothing is wrong”, despite not being able to get into either of the women’s rooms to use the washroom or for a shower sometime around 8:30/9pm.
It’s loud, had neighbours shouting and smoking outside our trailer before 7am, a guy using a leaf blower to blow dust off everything in his site for an hour.. pointed directly at ours. Left a note on a neighbouring motorhome, they had dogs barking for 3+ hours. People think it’s ok to stop and let their dog pee in your site while you’re standing there. Heavy equipment rental behind the RV park can be a bit loud as well. Wifi didn’t work in any of our multiple sites.
Had $500 in items stolen from our site on our last stay and when I wrote to them when we got home (we each thought the other had packed them away) and asked if the security cameras they were installing while we were there could be of any help to us, they didn’t respond. When I followed up I got “nothing observed”. I thanked them for their “concern” and never heard back.
Super...
