3.8 Stars. For a company training program we had to travel from western Colorado to the Denver area. Being January road conditions across the 70 can be very wintery and long. We chose to travel early arriving the 27th and spending the 27th and 28th here. Our company had us booked at a different hotel for the nights of the 29th and 30th. We originally booked this hotel on Orbitz for those two nights. Before arriving and checking in we discussed just staying at one place vs packing back up and changing if there was availability. We arrived and asked the receptionist/front desk and she said there was no problem. She extended our stay for the 2 additional nights and kept the same rate. We cancelled the other hotel and stayed here. The following morning we got a call from the front desk, a different person. They said they couldn’t accept the Orbitz rate and that we had to check out and then check back in as it was originally booked by a third party agent, Orbitz. So through the details; It’s kind of a training situation that should have been handled without involving customers and changing rates and checking in and out etc. Wasn’t anything overwhelming, we just felt like it shouldn’t have landed on us either financially or internally. I hope all that makes sense. The room was clean and spacious. Night one we enjoyed the bar after 7 hrs of traffic and white knuckle driving in snow and ice. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The location was fairly remote but made for a quiet stay. We ate at the Mexican Restaurant immediately behind the hotel, pretty good. We didn’t hear much from other guests maybe just a bump or two from upstairs in the am’s. We did keep encountering strong marijuana smells in a specific area of the hallway leading to our room. Thankfully it didn’t make it to or in our room. I see a lot of negative comments about lack of room service. It wasn’t an issue for us. When we would see housekeeping daily in the hall, we asked and received whatever we needed. Same with extra coffee etc from the front desk when we didn’t see housekeeping. When our trashes were full we set them outside and like magic, they got emptied. I agree with the pillow and hard bed comments. Those both were kind of a drag. But, I’ve had worse. So all in all, it’s was a good stay. Room for improvement sure, but we all have different expectations and experiences. We’d stay here again.

Through no fault but my own, my wife and I took a break recently. We live local and I spent almost a month at this particular Hilton Garden. It was a random last minute choice that ended up being a very lucky decision. From the first day I started staying there, Jake and the rest of the staff treated me like family. Starting every morning with fresh coffee, an excellent breakfast buffet or homemade French toast to order. Afterwards I would walk my best friend. Either across the street in a big open space or along s. Meridian’s big sidewalks. This is a wonderful part of lone tree with golf courses and townhomes as well. My room was always taken care of and immaculate when I returned. Thank you housekeeping! I could leave valuables out without any worry. Also, never worried about my vehicle at this hotel which we all know is not always the case when staying around the country at other places. The only thing I found odd about this hotel was I never saw the GM. Maybe two or three times during my month stay. EVERYTHING seemed to be handled by Jake to the point I asked why do I only see him daily? (usually morning until late) Not to mention he took it upon himself to make a beautiful turkey on Thanksgiving for all of us guests like myself who were away from home on the holiday. This guy is obviously a capable and hard worker and knows the hospitality business well and how to treat Hilton guests. IMO he definitely deserves his own store. These things become obvious when you spend so much time at a resort or hotel. We stay at the Broadmoor with my family from Texas at their invitation (and cost lol) once a year so I’m not oblivious to excellent hospitality. This place is clean and an excellent place to have an extended or brief stay. THANK YOU to your staff (I wish I had everyone’s pictures) for making a very hard month, much easier on myself. After this experience, I’ll not be staying anywhere else around this beautiful country other than Hilton brand hotels. Best Regards. Thomas Campbell

The hotel seemed safe, the surrounding area was nice and the rooms were clean from what I saw. Also, there was a fridge and a microwave in room which is always a plus in my opinion (though they didn't get as hot or cold as they were supposed to). It was a decent hotel for the price you pay. The location wasn't terrible either because it was a 3min walk to a Mexican restaurant and a 6-7min walk to train station. I think my biggest issue was the lack of a shuttle bus. Online it says there's an area shuttle bus which was the main reason I didn't rent a car and why despite the distance from downtown Denver, I was ok with picking this hotel. Of course I knew it wouldn't take me downtown but I saw that the Park Meadows Mall was 1mile away so I thought it would at least take me there. I was wrong. Before even booking hotel I called hotel and asked how their shuttle buses work and the person I spoke to said there wasn't a specific time for it to be used & it depends on if a person was available. I get to the hotel and ask about the shuttle bus and I'm then told that the shuttle bus is only used for business meetings, drives to work and only on weekdays. I was diappointed but I had no choice but to accept that. So then I asked the front desk, would they at least drive us to train station. Associate said, "No but it's just a short walk to train station" and proceeded to point in the direction of the station. When it's hot, you have suitcases and your walking on ground that isn't exatly flat, that walk isn't all that easy. So again, I was really disappointed. I think the shuttle bus restrictions need to be updated on booking sites because throughout the entire time that I was at hotel the shuttle bus didn't move once in the parking lot. It was just there to collect dust apparently. Also, please note that there is only house cleaning by request if you're not staying there for at least 4 days.

The Maintenance Manager of this hotel hired my company to perform over $3000 worth of repairs in 4 different areas of the main floor lobby area of the hotel. They approved the estimate, scheduled the work, we showed up on time and completed the work over 2 days according to our scope, and even took additional measures to work around their breakfast serving times, do additional cleaning measures, etc. The day work was completed, our invoice was submitted, which was Thursday April 18, 2024. After weeks of non-payment, I was directed to follow up with the General Manager of the hotel, Paige Roberts. I emailed Paige on May 9, 2024 to see what the process for paying the invoice would be, along with when to expect payment. She responded the same day with a generic response, “The invoice was submitted to our CapEx team the same day you sent it to us. Our CapEx process tends to take a little longer than our normal payment because it has to go through extra steps. Should be on its way soon!”. I emailed her again on May 24, 2024 to follow up, as it had been more than 30 days. Zero response. I have called the hotel 5 separate times and gotten all different answers from staff. “she is on vacation”, “she will be in later today, I’ll pass on the message”, etc. Monday, June 24th, I went to the hotel to see if there was someone I could speak to. I was told that Paige “was still on vacation. She left a few weeks ago and no one knows when she will return because she hasn’t given anyone her schedule.”. I located the owner of the hotel’s (Ryan Tomaro) email and sent him a message on Monday June 24th, and haven’t received a response from that either. It was made clear on the invoice that the due date was April 30, 2024, yet no one, not even the owner, has had the decency to at least respond or give me an update on the overdue invoice. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible, and very disappointing. With no communication, I am left to assume they do not intend on paying their invoice, and I will proceed with filing a lien against the property....

They are rude, do not honor your Hilton Rewards benefits, and do not know Hilton policy on request for daily room service. Customer service was HORRIBLE. I checked in on 4/24 for a two week work stay that was booked by my office. Upon arrival I requested a daily trash pick-up/towel replacement/bed be made. I was told NO. I was told, and I quote, "we don't offer that service at this location. we only do turn down services every 4 to 5 days for extended stays". Obviously, this is a lie as the company policy clearly states if you request a daily service, they will do it. It's LITERALLY ON THE BATHROOM MIRRORS!!!. I told her to call her manager, that I'll go upstairs to put my bags away and I'll give corporate a call and print out their policy for her to read it. When I came down, she said "We'll make an exception for you for this stay". Huh? This isn't an "exception" it's literally your company policy. Anyway, two days went by before I had to remind them that they hadn't done what they said they would do and then for the last 11 days they did a daily service.

The next morning I see they have a sign that breakfast is $16!!! Yes, you read that correctly, you can order a la carte or pay $16 for a mediocre breakfast at best. As a Gold rewards member, our membership includes FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. I asked, nicely, hey... per my rewards it states I get a continental breakfast for free even if your hotel is the unique ones with a restaurant. Again, this time the manger, rudely states "that's not a thing, we don't do that at this location. Breakfast has never been free here." At this point I accept it for what is is, a horribly run and extremely rude staff that has not been trained or held accountable for piss poor conduct. Plenty of better/less expensive options within a 3-minute drive from the hotel. I just went to the grocery store and picked up what I needed for the two weeks stay.

The hotel is older, it's got a ton of ware and tare and the elevator is the slowest and least reliable one I've experienced at a...
