Purisima Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Denver

We’ve been searching for a great Mexican restaurant for a while, and we’re so glad we found Purisima! With a high Google Reviews rating, we had high expectations, and now we know why it’s rated so highly.

Everything we ordered was fantastic. We started with the chicken flautas, which were crispy, flavorful, and filled with high-quality, moist white-meat chicken. For our entrées, I had the chicken enchiladas, and my wife had the pastor tacos—both were outstanding. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor, and the pastor tacos had a perfect balance of savory, spiced pork with pineapple and fresh cilantro.

The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with enjoyable cultural music playing in the background. The restaurant was clean, and the portion sizes were just right—enough to leave us satisfied but not overwhelmed. The service was also top-notch. We were warmly welcomed, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We even had the chance to chat and learned that the restaurant recently relocated from Denver.

Inside the Zeppelin Station on the first floor. This little Mexican Food stop is a break from the usual restaurant without the servers. Easy menu, not too many choices, but enough to get most people's fix. I wanted something not in the menu, but they obliged with no hesitation and delivered. Inside this place, it is a shared location with what looks like a garage door that probably opens for nicer weather. There is a seperate full service bar here as well and quite a bit of seating. The food was pretty good. My quesadilla with aracherra was both full of steak and delicious, $17. Got a side of crema and salsa verde with it. Got to try some of my friends' chips with guac, and chili relleno. All were delicious! Look forward to...

I recently moved to an apartment near this place and I went there based on the good words the employees at my apartment complex spoke of this place. I must say they were absolutely correct! I’ve had the tacos here and they are by far the best tacos I’ve had in quite some time. They pack the shrimp tacos full of shrimp and the slaw they put on them is moist and not dry cabbage like you’d find on other tacos. Their pastor and pork belly tacos are also amazing! So flavorful and they pack those tacos full! If you like asada fries, you’ll need to be very hungry or to have someone to share them with because the portion of asada fries is HUGE!!!!
