This place is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are filthy, hair to include pubic hair everywhere. Floors in the rooms don’t look like they have been mopped in years. The bathroom area I had to clean myself and still ended up wearing shower shoes because it was that gross. The hallways don’t look like they have ever seen a vacuum. Trash cans are overflowing. You can’t get breakfast because I guess locals live in this hotel and load up their plates leaving nothing for anyone else and (eggs and sausage) are not kept refilled. The breakfast area is pretty gross as well with very limited seating. The tables are not cleaned regularly between patrons. The counters are filthy, so I guess it’s a good thing we couldn’t get food. I’d hate to see what the kitchen looks like. This is a 7 story motel and they have like only 10 tables. Very limited parking as well. Again a 7 story hotel and they have like 20 parking spaces. I will say the lady at the desk was the only good thing of this hotel. She was super helpful when the first room we were put in the TV didn’t work and safety lock wasn’t bolted and door could be easily open without a key card. She was super apologetic and said they were aware of the room issue and weren’t supposed to be putting people in there. A/C worked good and the bed did appear clean (was the only clean thing in the room) and was comfortable. Anyway, avoid this hotel like the plague.

Perks of the hotel are few but are: free hotel shuttle, free breakfast 6-9am, small business center with a printer, mini fridge in room, and nice bedside table fixtures. The walls and sheets have many stains. Overall, the place needs quite a bit of maintenance, particularly the photos I posted of 2 door knobs heavily damaged on my hallway. Many door surfaces were also dented as if there are struggles for forced entry. I had seen comments online about a smoke smell that I assumed was temporary if they had a neighbor smoking, but there is a prevalent smoke smell in common places, like the elevator and hallways. The lobby gives a nice appearance at a quick glance but is cheaply decorated. The price is low to stay here, and you do get what you pay for. The front desk does not give a professional appearance and has many ripped paper signs taped up. This Comfort Inn was farther from the airport than I was expecting as you pass like every other hotel chain on the way there (several exits). The free hotel shuttle was pretty prompt to the baggage claim area, but the shuttle itself wasn't in the nicest condition in the interior or exterior. The exterior of the hotel building looked nice. The location immediately neighbors Widener University and a fire station. I did think traffic and hotel patrons (on a Saturday night) were noisy up to 2am.

We love this hotel and here is why we gave it 5 stars. We were traveling from NY and need find a hotel easy right off 95 to rest 1 night then leave to go home in the morning. There is not much in this neighborhood to walk around as far as walking to hang out but it is an easy drive to many restaurants or shopping etc.

  1. First impression when we called to inquire about the booking, the representative at the hotel was so nice and helpful. She was patiently answered all our concerns.
  2. Hotel is 2 minutes off 95 so easy to find with plenty of hotel free parkings right outside near the hotel lobby, hotel is in a very quiet area so we feel safe.
  3. Mr Prashant the general manager checked us in and made us feel so welcome, he even kindly asked if we needed help with our luggage seeing that we are seniors and we were looking very tired,
  4. The lobby is simple and modern with a big TV and comfortable seatings if you want to watch the large screen TV there.
  5. Our room is large and completely renovated as shown on the hotel website, all amenities you could ask for: darkening curtain blocks all light, AC and heat pump are clean with no dust so the air in the room is fresh, all furniture are new and updated as shown on their website, modern lighting with many usb ports, microwave and mini fridge, mattress and bedding are top of the line clean and all white so comfortable, lots of towels and good toiletries.
  6. Free breakfast with many options: scramble eggs and sausage, bagel or toast with cream cheese and selections of jams, waffles, oatmeal, yogurts, selections of cereals, many fresh fruits, several options juices, milk, coffee and tea. Nita the person in charge of the breakfast was keeping everything stocked and clean despite so many guests were there eating breakfast.
  7. Mohit the front desk manager checked us out promptly and asked when can he see us again, he is letting us know he appreciated our business. This old fashioned touch is so rare these days.
  8. The people who run this hotel really care and take pride in giving you the best service,
  9. I almost want to keep this place secret so that next time I would able to book a room again here, but seeing how hard the team at this property work to keep the guests happy so it only fair that I am letting them know how much I appreciate them . A...

Terrible..My wife went to the front desk on 7/12 to ask for some extra towels. The person at the desk told her to take them off the housekeepers cart herself. She found a housekeeper on floor 6. We were staying on the 2nd floor. She knocked on the door that the housekeeper was cleaning several times. The housekeeper ignored her. My wife then reached over to take a towel and then the housekeeper freaked out and started screaming at my wife calling her a thief. My wife hadn't taken anything but apologized and tried to explain she was reaching for a towel. The housekeeper then said she was recording things and would let the world know. She then called down to the front desk to lie and say my wife was stealing. My wife ran down to the front desk crying. The person at the front desk was new and unable to say or do anything and told us to wait for the manager who wasn't in the building yet. We said and waited for 20min for him to arrive. When he did he offered no apology from the housekeeper and only offered us a free meal and to take 1 of the 2 room charges off our bill for the 2 night stay. We accepted the discount on the room but the restaurant looked filthy and we politely declined that portion of the offer. We found out that nothing was done to the housekeeper and she was still employed after threatening my wife. As a result of this we didnt feel safe in the hotel and checked out in the middle of the night. I got home and checked my credit card bill and see that I was charged for 2 nights even after the hotel owner said he would comp the one night. We feel like this entire stay was a scam. The photos of the hotel and the actual condition of the hotel differ greatly. People were driving around the hotel in 4 wheelers. Our door to our room was falling apart. Our sink didnt drain. The breakfast food was old and gross. On top of everything the owner lied to us about the room reimbursement and refused to address his employee threatening guests for following instructions given by another employee. This...

The hotel was run down to start with, our tv didn’t work, called the front desk and no one ever came to repair it. But the absolute worst part of the stay was the shuttle service to the airport we paid extra for. The times aren’t accurate says shuttle departs every 30 minutes but it’s really whenever the driver feels like it. Going to the airport we left 10 minutes early then our requested departure time, thank goodness we went down to the lobby early. Our experience only gets worst, on our way back we called for the shuttle at 4:45 pm with Rose at the front desk saying the shuttle will depart the hotel by 5 and should pick us up by 5:20 or 5:30 pm…. We were not picked up until 6:30pm. That’s around 2 hours of waiting for the shuttle. I had to call the hotel multiple times begging them to give me an estimated time and all i got was excuses from Rose and then Pashina the manager. First it was traffic, then it was 2 accidents, then it was a paralyzed guest who took a long time to drop off at the shuttle. Never once was any of this communicated to me beforehand. Then when the driver picks us up he says he was just made aware of our requested pickup, then proceeds to call Rose at the front desk on speaker phone who proceeds to talk about how much we were complaining about the wait time. The most unprofessional and uncomfortable situation i have ever been in. My fiance paid extra for us to be able to use the park and ride service and it was the worst experience we have ever had. The staff and management need to work on communication in order to avoid these issues happening in the future. Never even received an apology for keeping us stranded at the airport for 2 hours they all just focused on blaming everyone and thing but themselves. I know one thing i will never use this hotel again for anything and i will make sure my friends and family who travel from the Philly airport to never use this facility as well. Ruined the end of our vacation to...
