L.A. Taco Bistro — Restaurant in Chester

Cali girl here! 🙋🏾‍♀️ I've tried quit a few "Mexican" spots out here (Philly & DE) and this one does not disappoint! I only have one other that I frequent which is an authentic Mexican spot and this is neck and neck with them. We are in Delaware so if we're making the trek to Chester at least once a week, you know this spot is GREAT! The food is as excellent as the customer service!

We're still working our way through trying the menu, but so far we've tried the Burria Beef tacos, regular beef tacos, thai chili tacos, fish tacos, elote, rice & beans, carne asada bowl, philly cheesesteak quesadilla, oreo funnel cake sticks, oreo churros, strawberry cheesesteak churros, and blackened salmon tacos. I enjoy all of these but if could rank top 3 entrees I'd say the carne asada bowl, Burria Beef tacos, and blackened salmon tacos. Hubby's top 3 are the philly cheesesteak quesadilla, carne asada bowl, and the beef tacos (regular & Burria). All the desserts that we've tried we've loved too. I want to try the Birri Ramen next!

I will say if have a large order there can be a bit of a wait so if you don't want to wait you can always order ahead for pickup through Grubhub or DoorDash.

It’s hard to find good food AND good people at the same place but we found it at LA Taco Bistro! You CANNOT go wrong with them! This is our new spot and I can't wait to invite family & friends when they come. LOVE them 100/100...

Food was always consistent until today. I called my order in, and I spoke to Bryant asking if the fish on the Trio taco was supposed to be small as it was the last time I ordered. Mind you, I used to get a nice filet of fish. So he kindly said we had to cut back. I said, "Oh ok understood but I'm fat so I want a nice piece he said I will find you a nice piece of fish. I arrived before they called cause I wanted it hot. Cause it's banging hot. I go inside to hear laughing in the back as I said Hello how is everyone. No response, they still playing, I said hello again. Give me 2 minutes, a lady voice answered. Ok. I paid $25.44 and my food came out and this time I had nuggets 3 fish nuggets with specs of crab and some shrimp and the pineapple salsa wasn't even on point. And it was Luke warm. Im just pissed off cause I should of addressed it when I was in the store. However they weren't the owner and they could care less. Just how they showed me in the presentation of my food. Kasai your employees are ruining...

Just tried LA Taco Bistro last night for the first time.

The bad news: Door Dash brought the wrong order. My boyfriend and I were crushed, BUT…

The good news: I realized I live really close, so I called direct to the restaurant and gracious management offered to remake my order (two orders of birria quesa tacos and an order of churros) and I could bring back what Door Dash wrongly delivered and get the right order, clean slate.

Only had to wait a few minutes for the order and when we got it home, we were totally pleased and satisfied. The meat was tender and juicy and flavorful, with gooey cheese and tart onion and cilantro, the tacos were crunchy and the consommé was hot and rich. Birria excellence!

We waited a while to eat the churros and they were still warm in the container. Also extremely tasty with a healthy dose of cinnamon sugar.

Will absolutely be ordering again (and will pick up in person!) from this...
