Please don’t waste your time or money. We used this hotel for our wedding block. We told Ron well enough in advance that we needed enough rooms (at least 10, likely 15-20) to accommodate our wedding guests, of which at least 50% were expected to travel in from out of town. A week before our block expired, we had guests complaining that the rooms were sold out and the new rate was almost 2X the promised rate. Ron told us that the rooms were sold out, despite showing that there were still rooms available online, and that we had only agreed on 5 rooms guaranteed. After complaining to corporate, 8 rooms were magically made available for our room block. For reference, we are aware that our guests booked at least 14 rooms here. Some chose to stay elsewhere after the confusion with room rate and availability.
Fast forward to our wedding weekend. Ron didn’t acknowledge us at check in. We previously reserved a king suite as part of our room block agreement. Given the experience so far, we were not surprised to be put in a room with an excellent view (sarcasm). The floors were disgusting and sticky upon arrival. After noticing the bottoms of my feet were turning black from walking around, my husband ‘mopped’ the entire floor with one of the white towels, which then turned black as well. Photo is after rinsing it out once and mopping a second round.
The icing on the cake was when one of our guests informed us that upon check in, he was told there were only two rooms available, one of which was on our floor - but the man at the front desk specifically told him “he didn’t want to be on our floor because it was ‘the dog house’.” I can only presume he was referring to it as such because most of our wedding block was staying on that floor. I can assure you we were not loud or partying or giving any other reason to refer to us the “dog house”, other than the fact we had a prior disagreement over the room block. All of our wedding guests at the hotel were 30-75+ years old, so it’s not like we were a bunch of young college kids.
We almost always do business with Hilton when traveling, but it will sure never be this hotel. I wish we would have canceled and moved all of our guests...
Read moreThis was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Not only was the room absolutely filthy, but in the two days we were there, the problems were never solved. Due to issues with their digital keys and checking in, we were unable to check in until rather late at night. When we got to the room, it was beyond filthy. Nearly a dozen of someone else’s bodily hairs all over the shower walls, filth on the shower floor, black stains in the sink, hair in the towels, brown spots on the carpet and the sheets, and more. We tried using the chat feature with no response. We also called multiple times to the front desk. One girl was new and had to call a manager. Alisa that finally responded informed us that nothing could be done and she would just refund us and we could find a new hotel - mind you this was at midnight on a holiday weekend. She was horrible to us but finally just brought us new sheets so we at least felt safe to sleep. The next morning we spoke to a different front desk man. He promised us that the head of housekeeping would clean and bleach our room herself. When we got back that evening, there was still a dirty toilet, dirty shower floor, dirty sink and carpet spots. It was slightly cleaner but still wildly unacceptable. We tried to get help again to no avail. When we finally could check out the next morning I requested to speak directly with a manager. The female desk worker refused to do so, saying that the manager was doing inventory. She was rude and refused to get her superior. She did give us a discount but only on the cheaper night, which was not even the night with the largest issues, that also happened to be the more expensive night. There was no getting anywhere further with her. It was awful and almost everyone there did not care one bit. The only one that tried to help was the male front desk man on Sunday. But even that did not fully fix anything. Never again - do not go if you want to feel safe and clean...
Read moreStayed 1 night. Saturday July 12th. Had multiple issues with both keyless entry and actual plastic keys functioning. I spoke with another guest who had the same issue. Had little interaction with staff, but when I did , it was excellent.
Room 213. appeared clean , but it’s obvious they don’t move beds or vacuum under them. During the day the room was dark, even with lights on so I tried to open blinds and curtains that are controlled by a wall switch. The curtain went up and to my amusement the screen was wired backwards and only raise part of the way.
The bathroom needs work. Hair in shower, paint peeling in shower and rips in wall under sink.
Parking was 10$ . Im not sure who owns the parking deck which is shared /separated from a medical facilty. and website did say not secured. If I’m paying to park, I expect not to have to move a discarded tire that was there from when I arrived to when I departed , broken glass , and having to dodge unsavory characters that pop outta nowhere.
The reds were playing , so low water pressure and ice makers not keeping up where to be expected. I listen to water pipes banging half the night. Which is another reason I put my room number in review.
I think a lot of this would be overlooked had it not been paying the room rate I paid, and not paid for parking , and actual keys not working. Leaving me to walk back down stairs, to outside , then back into lobby .
