I wanted to give 5 stars and I really wanted to have a pleasurable experience. Maybe after trying again, my rating will change. I wasn’t 100% happy with my visit 1 week ago. I ordered a special order and when I picked the order up I wanted to be more of a support so I decided I would order breakfast. I asked the lady what type of muffins did they have and she replied blueberry and banana. I then asked her which drink she would recommend and she stated she likes the strawberry acai refresher made with lemonade, which I typically order from Starbucks . I’m not sure what happened but I ordered the blue berry muffin with a strawberry acai refresher. I receive my order hurry to my car to get to work. I bite into my muffin and it’s banana nut, and then I take a sip of my refresher and I’m not sure what type of drink I received my drink was a amber color and had blueberries which was weird to me being that it was a strawberry refresher and I didn’t taste lemonade at all or any strawberry flavoring. I didn’t in fact call the store 3 time. The first time I requested to speak to a manager and I was informed she was not in the store. The second time I called a young lady answered, took my information and stated I would receive a call back. The third time I called a gentleman answered the phone and stated she wouldn’t be in today but he would write my information down in the book that she checks and call me back. I tried explaining to him what happened but he said he had to get off the phone because he had customers in front of him. I still haven’t received a phone call back and it’s been almost 2 weeks. I really would like to speak with the owner as I feel He or she would really handle the problem well but I haven’t been able to reach them after almost 2 weeks. I would like to visit the shop once again but I would like to have my initial issue...

This place was amazing! My friend I needed somewhere to study and chat and this location was perfect for that. In the front there are tables graciously spaced across from the coffee bar. The bench seating, where the table were placed, had outlets! The coffee shop wifi was quality and easy to recall as I walked back to my table to enter it into my laptop. However I do wish that the wifi was displayed on my receipt or somewhere visible for patrons. On the contrary, I like that it requires visitors to engage with staff. There is a small gravel parking lot alongside the building, but other parking is available. This was the first coffee shop I've visited since COVID and making a decision was difficult. The staff was friendly, conversational, and patient. Loved the vibes the artwork and my entire experience. I will be revisiting for sure and bringing others along to contribute to keeping this beautiful Black business alive. As for the photo, this is one of three variations of toast with strawberry jam various seeds and peanut butter. I'm a picky eater and typically do not like most of the toppings. However, I was brave and pushed forward to try something new. Lesson learned: trust the combination. The toast was amazing and a day later I'm sad I didn't buy...

Let me tell y’all, this place is a solid 5 stars all around! I’m from Michigan and was visiting Cincinnati when I searched for a few local coffee shops. Something drew me to this one, and I’m so glad I followed that instinct!

I’m pretty sure the amazing woman running the shop was the owner, and she’s Black, which made me even more excited because I love supporting small Black-owned businesses (wish more reviews had mentioned that!).

I started with a cold brew (simple coffee lover here!) and avocado toast, both delicious. Then I went back for the banana and peanut butter toast—another 10/10. But what truly stood out was the owner herself. She was holding it down solo on a busy Saturday morning after two staff call-offs, and still made the effort to communicate with every customer, apologize for delays, and keep things moving with grace.

If you’re ever in the Cincy area, this spot is a must try. Great food, great coffee, and an even better vibe. I’ll...

Cream + Sugar is a total vibe. From the moment you walk in, you are grooving to the sounds of smooth, chill music and greeted by the servers and their welcoming energy. During this visit, I opted for the rosemary and goat cheese toast and an iced coffee. My son ordered the iced chai. My toast was AMAZING. The cranberry drizzle gave it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. My guy LOVED his iced Chai, stating it was one of the best he's had. Literally, my only request is that they add a couple of iced coffee options. That's all I will say because everything else was amazing, and I will both return frequently and highly suggest that everyone who reads this review hurries there (insert heart emoji)!
