Don’t. Just don’t stay here. The people who run this motel park their personal vehicle in the spot customers would normally park to check in. Not a biggie, but inconsiderate. The room: headboard was crooked, holes in the walls from something that had been removed, floors were not clean (but not filthy), bed was stained and uncomfortable, easy chair was also covered in stains, pillows were old and just tossed on the bed (not “made”), the a/c was not on (and it was 101* heat index) and when we turned it on it had a weird smell, room door was crooked. Wood furniture was worn. Each air conditioner/heater had mothballs beneath it…hence the place smelled of mothballs. Refrigerator worked.
A guy was, literally, sitting in a camp chair in the bed of his pick up having a beer when we pulled in. The heat index was 101* with brutal humidity. This guy preferred sitting outside in the heat to sitting in his room. Yes, this place is that bad.
After lugging all our stuff upstairs. We decided, instead, to make the drive home. We talked to some other folks we knew, who also had reservations at this motel, and they also chose to drive 2 hours home (we were there for a tournament, so had to drive back the next day).
If you can stay anywhere else nicer, do that. If you can afford to drive home, do that. If you cannot, this place is passable, just know what you’re getting in to. And have low expectations. It’s not nice. It’s not pretty. It’s not well kept. But, it’s a place to sleep. And if that’s what you’re after, this could be the...
Read moreCalled at around 5pm on 2-5-25 for a room. Was quoted $65 plus taxes for a total of $75.75. When I arrived at the hotel, the new total was $81.52. Not sure why the price increased and when I asked the clerk on duty, all I got was a blank look. Got up to the room on trhe 2nd floor, and was greeted by a non-working shower and sink, and a barely working toilet, and tools crammed into the bathroom. THe bed was extra firm as were the pillows, and the bedding had what appeared to be cigarette burns in them. Didn't sleep well due to the noise in the hall from other guests having a great time at others' loss of sleep. when I was getting dressed the next morning, the maintenance man let himself into my room stating he wasn't aware that anyone was staying in the room. I didn't even bother with their "continental breakfast" offering. I simply checked out, got my receipt, and left. Will avoid this hotel at all costs going forward & will make sure all my friends & coworkers do likewise. The new owners don't seem to care about anything more than what they can get for their rooms...
Read moreOwners are inconsiderate and do not speak English, if you work the night shift the cleaning ladies will keep you up all day. If you talk to the owners about it they will pretty much tell you they don't care, and they park their personal vehicle in the unloading area. The room i checked into was still dirty but the bed was made (weird) there are cigarette burns all over my non smoking room and to top it all off the cleaning lady tried to steal my 20$ bottle of tea tree shampoo, found it on her cleaning cart. Safe to say i wont be coming back and i wish i had stayed somewhere else. Pitiful customer service from them. This is a joke of an...
