Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Columbus

Just needed to update. I picked up a couple runzas to take out for my mother and me. They were excellent as was the service at the drive thru. Still my favorite fast food. Appreciate the service back to what it was.

Purchased fish sandwich friday night. Fish eas greasy not flakey at all, I would guess the grase was not hot enough. Sauce was missing with grease and running out of the bun Actually the bun was also greasy and falling apart. The fries were hard and dry. Either over cooked and probably sitting too long before being served I'm a long time customer and make it a point to have the fish every year this was my first time and probably my last time this year. It looks like the fish is a thinner cut which at least the piece in my sandwich which may be part of the problem.

I also took a couple of runzas to my mother about 3 Weeks ago. When we opened them I noticed grease was soaking thru the bag. The runzas was not full sealed. Meat mixture had a lot of grease. I have been a runzas customer since they first opened on Columbus but these last two purchases may be my last.

We do not deserve this Runza. The only thing on earth that could rival the awesomeness of this Runza might be dogs, and even then it’s close. My husband and I stopped to grab dinner on our way back home after yet another after work boondoggle. We couldn’t shut the truck off because the battery is weak in this cold and we had our car trailer so it wasn’t going to work to go through the drive thru. I went up to the door and it was locked, I looked at the sign on the door and noticed the drive thru was open til 10, but the lobby closed at 8. Then, as I was ready to retreat back with no spoils of battle, a voice from afar called out and said “I’ll let you in.” They so kindly, after hours, let me order inside after they’d already mopped and cleaned the Runza. I know how annoying this probably was, and I just want every single Runza employee there tonight to know, you are so deeply appreciated. Thank...

Seems like just a bunch of kids who don’t want to work.

Went in at 8:30 on a Friday, they close at 10. There was at least 6 people working. Two people took our order, they asked us three times because they weren’t paying attention the first times we ordered. We got up to the window and they completely lost our order and we had to re order it a fourth time. The girl seemed high or something because she couldn’t even comprehend what we were telling her. $30 for two cheeseburgers is ridiculous, and having to wait in a drive thru for 35 minutes...
