As an extended-stay hotel in the area this TownePlace Suites in Conroe is easily the best choice in town! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home with their spacious suites, modern amenities, and thoughtful little extras that truly made a difference in our stay.||One of the coolest things they offer is their "Borrow Closet," where guests can check out everyday home essentials like, air fryers, blenders, crockpots, and even rice cookers—making it easy to cook meals just like we would at home. My family absolutely loved it! Ive noticed other hotels doing this as well but Towneplace had it really orgonized and easy to check out. They even had board games and puzzles for all ages, which kept my 3 little nephews entertained for hours! We even had a night where we grilled up steaks, chicken and burgers for the family on the hotels provided BBQ pit at NO addional cost! We were so excited, and my nephews really loved making smores in their fenced in fire pit area. ||Inside the rooms, we were beyond impressed. The full stovetops, pantry and ovens played a big roll in our enjoyment of the stay! The adjustable sleeper sofa in our king suite made it so convenient for us to sleep our littles and full-sized refrigerators with dishwashers made our stay not just comfortable but also relaxing. I especially appreciated being able to use real glass dishes and utensils in our suite that made it feel like home - it’s the little things that elevate the experience! Of course, they have all the classic hotel amenities like a fitness center, pool, and laundry facilities, but everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Even the simplest aspects felt thoughtfully designed and cared for. ||What really set this stay apart was the amazing team. From the start, Alyssa, the GM, went above and beyond to accommodate our large family, with 9 of us (6 adults and 3 children) Even when it was inconvenient, she made sure we had connecting suites (323 & 325) which made all the difference for us being able to have that family moment for the new years.||The front desk was fantastic, and Brody was especially welcoming and helpful. And then there was Josh, the night auditor—an absolute rockstar. He wasn’t just friendly and knowledgeable; he genuinely cared about making our stay great. He even took the time to explain the rules of a board game to my nephews and played a round with them in the lobby. Every hotel needs a night auditor as awesome as him!||We stayed right after the new year, and while they were taking down the holiday decorations, the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. This hotel is seriously top-tier for Conroe, and we will...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about this location. As an example of the exceptional customer service, customer care is more appropriate, I has an issue last night, mid stay. I accidentally left a gap in booking the room we've been staying in, I went to the app I use for booking (priceline) and booked a room for the night, well I accidentally selected the wrong size room and had done it non refundable or transferable. So at this point I have the booking I just finished, the booking starting the next day and now a 3rd and wrong room for the night (my fault). The hotel approved a refund through priceline, great, BUT the funds wouldn't be available until the next day. So I have no way to actually pay for the night now. The courteous lady working night time front desk (Alyssa) called the hotel manager and informed her of the situation with the bookings. Knowing I have a pregnant wife with me, on bed rest non the less, lets us stay! She let me pay for the next booking and the previous night the next day! No other place or person would have let us stay, no way, I was really taken aback by her generosity in this situation. Her name is Wendy and you should be so lucky to have her oversee your stay here! The hot breakfast everyday has been awesome! Great selection especially given the current state of the world and the virus! There have been many other things they have done to make ours and the rest of the hotels stay very comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchens are great with dishwashers and plenty of room for food in the fridge and storage. #MarriotforLife...
Read moreI stayed here multiple times for a week at a time in one month due to being on a clinical rotation for school. However, I should have known there were red flags when they did not want me to use any of my Marriott Bonvoy points for my stay. I am a silver elite Marriott Bonvoy member as well as a owner of the Marriott vacation club and could not believe the treatment that I received here. The first day that I arrived, the manager rudely took the luggage cart from me without asking if I was done using it. Also they did not provide any room service at all even for clean towels. Then at the end of my stay, they charged me a random $100 fee that just said miscellaneous and when I called to ask what the charge was, the receptionist could not tell me what it was for. She said she would ask the head of the cleaning staff, but never called back. When I called back because they did not answer, she said that she had just left for the day. I then asked to speak to the manager and was told that the head of the cleaning staff and manager was the same person and that she had just left for the day. I thought this was strange since I had called over 2 hours before she left. I asked to be called back the next day and never was. They are very unprofessional and rude at this location. For my last week, I stayed at another Marriott location nearby called the Springhill Suites and the staff was much nicer, provided room service, and did not charge...
