FRAUD ALERT: I had an online order, seemingly handled through this store. On Sept 6th I identified a faulty part on my vehicle which I had ordered from ORW previously. I went back to the ORW website, ordered a replacement, but then had to contact customer service to get some clarification on shipping dates. With that information I chose 2 day shipping, and paid the premium for it. After not receiving the part by late afternoon on September 10th I went back online and requested a status, and after filling in the required information I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours. I was not. I then called the customer service line, explained the situation, and was told my part was now being shipped, and the rep assured me I would receive an email with a tracking number. I did not receive that email by the next afternoon. I then called customer service again and was connected with someone in Mesa AZ who had no idea what was going on, and then I was given a direct number for Corona. I called, and was again assured my part was on the way, and after being placed on hold for a while I finally received a tracking number. I found the part that I had ordered and paid 2 day shipping for on September 6th was now in transit to Sparks Nevada, meaning it just left CA, 6 days after I ordered it. Now, I have an estimated delivery date of September 16th, that’s 10 days for a product I paid 2 day shipping for. I’ve asked several times now for my shipping to be refunded, several OWR reps have hand waved it away and just said it would be refunded by “someone”. To date it has not been. This is theft or fraud. Either they sold me a part they did not have and have been trying to fill the order, or they charged me a fee for a service which they did not provide. I could’ve ordered my part elsewhere, already had it delivered, and already installed, but instead I got mixed up with the dishonest/incompetent...
Read moreBought a bumper , paid cash, Next day got a call, I’m told Bumpers not available at there typical source. It will cost me $150 to get from another source. Since I live 3 hours away , it wasn’t practical for me to drive back and pick up my cash and cancel the transaction. I ended up getting the bumper installed and when I got my final invoice. They overcharged me an additional $150. Finding out latter called to reclaim my overcharge. The Manager did return my money. Since I wanted it in cash , as I had paid. I was told it would take a couple days to gather the cash. Good thing I didn’t request $1700 refund when they jacked up the price after we made a deal Here’s a real Joke , I get A letter from the President, thanking me for my purchase and asking if I was satisfied. I actually thought the letter was authentic. So I sent a description of my story and that their business practices of jacking up the price after you took my money , made the deal and then I left. That practice will loose you business and you may want to correct. It was may 2nd large purchase there and the 2 nd time I got screwed by ORW business. The other one was I returned a defective canopy A Best Top. But ate the $350 install I paid. Turns out the letter doesn’t go to the president, some inbox that folks will pretend to care and call the Manager. I didn’t get a call. They did give me a credit on my next purchase. But not a trade for honesty and straight business responsibility. I will go down the road and...
Read moreStopped by their booth at offroad expo and ordered over $500 of parts. The guys there were super friendly and knowledgeable. They were unfortunately out of stock at the expo but said if I placed an order with them I'd have the parts probably Monday or Tuesday. Tried calling them three times the following Thursday because I hadn't received anything. Two times it went to the voicemail of some guy named Bob. The third time somebody actually picked up and then hung up immediately after I heard voices in the background for a quick second. I tried logging into the website to track my order, but it shows that I don't have any orders on my account. I checked my credit card and the charge is there. I'd give them one star for horrendous customer service but I gave them an extra one because of how nice the guys in person were. My recommendation would be just buy parts with them in person. They are using some archaic database software from the early 90s for their orders and it looks like they only have one guy working their customer support line. Hopefully my parts show up at some time within the next week or I'll have to do a charge back through my...
