We loved our stay! The entire hotel has been remodeled and it looks brand new. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. We were there for 6 nights and would stay there again! The price was very reasonable for the area. The breakfast options were plentiful and they rotated the food options. I don't think they had the same staples once during our stay. The rooms were quiet enough. We couldn't hear our neighbors at all, but you could hear our upstairs neighbors when they walked around but it wasn't disruptive at all. There were no foul smells in the hallways at all. We had a small issue with the fire sprinkler head in the bathroom. It was dripping water. Called the front desk and within 10 mins Alex the maintenance man was there and fixed the issue. He offered right away for us to switch rooms if we wanted but we decided to stay since he fixed the issue. The parking lot is small and one night the lot was full when we returned but the front desk was quick with great answer for us so we were not put out in any way. They have a fitness center but I can't comment on it as we didn't use it. If you are looking for a pool, this hotel doesn't have one unfortunately, but that wasn't something we were looking for. I compared this hotel to the OC and the Ramada. All of these were similar in price and location. The other 2 are really motels and the Hampton is a hotel. I would much rather have my outdoor access limited rather than step outside...
Read moreGrimey showers, jailhouse breakfast, road noise, no pool, and every employee has a terrible attitude, pretty much sums this place up. Located inconveniently next to a cracked-out trailer park on a one way frontage road, the only thing within walking distance is a liquor store on the other side of the trailer park. Enjoy a partial breakfast where nothing gets refilled, the "bacon" is paper thin, burnt black and tastes like chemicals. Make sure and listen to the rude front desk lady who won't even look at you, when she tells you, "make sure you get there early, before the food runs out," because that WILL happen every day of your stay. Hope you enjoy watery eggs and generic fruit loops at 6am. Cause you won't be sleeping in here. If you're not in the breakfast dungeon before 7am, the housekeepers will be sure to have a conversation right outside your which, for some reason, has a 3 inch gap at the bottom, which was crazy. There's 0 sense of privacy since the walls are 4 inches thick like a modular home. You can hear every neighbor above, below, and beside you, and they can hear you. I hope you sleep HEAVY cause these are spring mattresses from the 80s. I legitimately couldn't believe how bad this was for the price we paid. This is a Motel 6 with bad breakfast and worse coffee. Oh wait, a Motel 6 comes with a pool. Idk what this is. Pay the extra $20 a night and go stay at the ones by the airport. This...
Read moreI was soooo glad to find this hotel! I'm a loyal Hilton Diamond member, but when I'm traveling to this area for work (in my case Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach), there are very few affordable Hilton options nearby.||It's obviously a new hotel, so no complaints there. Super easy to navigate from/to there, and all the staff I encountered were extra friendly - I think they were excited to too, lol.||As a Diamond member, I was upgraded to a King Studio Suite, so I can't speak to their other rooms, but mine was fantastic. Super clean, extra space to spread out, great wifi speed, and a microwave and refrigerator, which was a nice surprise. Didn't use the microwave, but the refrigerator came in handy. The room colors are a bit different than what I was expecting from the website. But I liked the actual colors more (warm relaxing blue vs. the hyper aqua in the photo) and was pleasantly surprised. I wish I'd taken a picture, but next time for sure, as this is my new go to hotel...
