I brought my nephew to Florida for the Daytona 500. Found this hotel and it was right between Daytona and the airport. It was a little pricey at over $300 a night but I had points for one night and it was a good location. The actual room was OK. Seemed like a normal Hampton room. The bathroom seemed newly renovated. We had booked three nights and on our second night I woke up very early in the morning And could not sleep. I turned on the TV and sat in the chair. After a couple minutes, I noticed something crawling on our stuff so I quickly turned on the lights and there was a roach. I tried to catch it, but it got away. A few minutes later it was crawling on the wall and this time I got it. I managed to get it into a Ziploc bag . When my nephew woke up, I told him we were leaving. I went to the front desk and showed them the roach and told them we were going to be checking out early. The girl gave no apology. She just kind of made a face and told me I could throw it away. I said I thought she might want to see it for the exterminator. And she said just throw it away. I asked about getting points back and she told me we would have to call the diamond desk. So we left.
My husband called Hilton corporate and they apologized right away. And they returned our points.
My husband called the hotel and tried to talk to the manager, but he was not in until later and was told That the manager would call him back. After several phone calls and no response from the manager, my husband emailed the manager. Again no response. We sent one more email along with the picture and we did not get an email response but we were given one night back on our credit card.
We stay at Hampton a lot. This one was such a...

It had good reviews and we stay at Hampton Inns a lot so it seemed like it would be good. We were booked for 3 nights.||We got there and it was a pretty normal Hampton Inn. It didn’t have a business center, but they said if we needed anything printed we could send it to the front desk. The room was ok. Read moreMy wife and I are Honors Members and stayed at the Hampton Inn Debary from Monday, February 24, 2020 through Sunday, March 1, 2020 and were charged $983.82. When we placed the reservations we were told specifically that there was a "No Pets" policy in effect, except for Service Animals. We were placed in room 209. During our stay we counted four different dogs being brought into the hotel. My wife suffers from animal allergies and suffered the entire week with sneezing, coughing, headaches and itching. Unfortunately, there were no other hotel rooms available in the area so we had to stay here since we were dealing with a family issue. When we advised Mafet of the situation during checkout, her response was that they do allow service animals but they keep them on the second floor. We explained that these were NOT service animals and we asked about the animal policy before checking in. And then, we were given a room on the second floor, with the animals. Mafet then said that is why they try to keep the animals on the first floor ... contradicting her first statement. It is ashame that anyone has to suffer through a situation like this. We are Honors Members and are told that we will be treated better than a standard guest. I guess that this is not the case and this is why we will NOT stay and the Hampton Inn Debary again. They disregarded my wife's medical condition (by the way, allergic reactions can be deadly which is why she carries an Epi-pen with her at all times) and then were lied to at check out. Very disappointed that the Hampton Inn does not care about the comfort nor the safety and well being of...
