Horrible stay away. Management is horrible and rude and makes statements that are false. We wanted to stay in a room with a kitchen called and we were advised to update to a king suit by Laurel which we did and we recieved a broken mini fridge, microwave and a discusting room. We went and asked the front desk clerk James for a room with a kitchen he advised us to update for 50 dollars. We did this and when we checked out we noticed on our cards some odd charges that we brought up to the rude front desk clerk Joann. She couldnt understand us and called central booking where we were told by Laurel we cannot have a invoice based on they use two different systems for their bookings. After a small arguement we were emailed two different invoices that were not equal. On our way home we checked our account and we were charged the room rate again. We called and Laurel answered and almost immediatly hung up the phone when I explained who I was. Once we called back we spoke to Donna who explained that it was Laurels fault for over charging but she did not rectify the situation in anyway and was very rude and dismissive. Later this day we checked our account and have been charged another 650 dollars for no reason. In other words this place blows chunks. Id give it a big...
Read moreNice place. A bit too far from the mountain to walk but there is a shuttle. Friendly staff, really nice breakfast included. They have a foosball table and billiard table in the lounge - but they are bar style and you have to pay to use them. This felt like something they really needed to update. There need to be a bunch of fun things to do in the lounge that are just included in the price like the sauna and hot tub. The arcade room was sad and decrepit and pointless. Half the machines didn’t work and they would be better served making that into a room with board games and books for people to hang out in. If they updated the games and stuff in the lounge and made it more friendly by removing the silly pay wall I would have given the place five stars for the value and location. But the place gives you that sense they they are stuck in the 90’s in terms of how to offer hospitality these days. There’s a lot of value in making the place more welcoming with free things to entertain people than the $1 in quarters they collect from people using the pool table and foosball table once a week It would have made a huge difference in...
Read moreThis is a perfect stay for a quick weekend trip I would stay here again. Its no Grand Summit, it's definitely outdated but the rooms are clean... Our group of 11 had 3 rooms next to each other. The furniture is old and chipped, but the sheets and mattresses are clean. It looks like the bathroom was recently remodeled, it has a shower with good water pressure, and a small basic sink. No safe , fridges or microwaves in our rooms. There is a dresser, night stand, and small closet with hooks and a luggage rack. You can walk up to Mt Snow if you're up for it (10-15 min) Or wait for a MOOVER bus that will pick you up right at the front door. They come every 15 minutes. The outdoor hot tub was very fun for a few minutes, the indoor one is larger and there is also a small sauna that is nice. Get towels at the front desk first though, there are none in the pool area.
