Carinthia Base Lodge — Local services in Dover

Mount snow was a good time if you happen to be there when it has good conditions just like any other mountain,but as a first time with a season pass(Epic pass) they were very accommodating to the pass not working and then having to update the academic transcript and even issuing a day pass if it still doesn't work. Just when the weather is bad they'll close the main lift and just have to manage with the other side lifts and navigate on the side to go back up. Bartender was ehh not so nice in the main Lodge tending to ask for tips and throw your ID back...

The lodge is very nice, open, and well organized. We took some time to warm up at the seating down near the lockers. There is also a nice gear shop down in that area as well. However it was difficult getting in and out as the vaccination checking was not efficient. It also wasn't clear if everyone was checked since people were allowed to walk through the main dining area to get to the restrooms and lockers downstairs without showing proof of vaccination. We saw a couple people say they were headed downstairs only to sit at a table with friends and...

The new lodge is great. Very convenient for families. Much cleaner than the main base and the bar is great for Apre. We've eaten at the iron loft several times and it great for larger groups. I'd like to see the mountain host more events here to create the same atmosphere as the main base. There is so much potential, especially for families that have places close to the mountain and dont want to wait an hour to be seated. Keep up the good work and I look forward to being there...
