Can I give this motel a zero star? Do not stay here unless you like staying in filth.
By far this was the worst motel (not an inn, doors on the outside) I have ever stayed at. When we arrived (10pm on a work trip) I was given my room key. Upon going to my room, the room hadn't been made. The bed sheets were pulled away and sitting on the bed. Towels were on the floor. It was like the maid had started to clean then just left.
I went downstairs to tell the desk attendant and he apologized to me and went to find another room. He then stated the other room he checked was the same and even though there were only a handful of cars in the parking lot, there was no rooms available. I'm guessing all the rooms hadn't been made. He told me there was one room that was available, but that room's door key didn't work and he would need to use the master key to open it. This meant if I left the room, I had to get someone to open the door back.
Inside the room, there were dead bugs on the bed cover, the sitting chair had stains, the sink drain was mostly clogged and overall the room just made you want to sleep on top of the covers. My co-worker went to her room and the door was wide open. Outside the room there were two broken down cars. My boss traded rooms with her. Inside my bosses room, the sitting chair was almost black from stains. The smoke detector was handing down and overall the room was just plain nasty.
I'm surprised that no one got bed bugs from this place. We did not stay for breakfast. We had a meeting at the La Quinta that morning so we ate there. Our next two nights were at the La Quinta and by far...
Read moreHighly unsatisfied! First booked 2 queen beds to be put into a king. Then told the new room was 2 queens. They're full size beds. Then our children's shoes and clothes were destroyed by wet caulk no signs to be seen. Then behold I step on a carpet nail that wasn't covered. Horrible experience! What else can go wrong.
Update: customer service is HORRIBLE. The manager is a joke (Anthony Fogg) I couldn't believe how I was treated. Asked him to come down to the room to see that I got the caulk up from the carpet so I wouldn't be charged a cleaning fee for something that wasn't our fault. The response I got was unbelievable.( I'm busy because of what you caused we will check it when you get out of here.) I called corporate the night before. I said your on hold and on a cell phone would of took him less than 30 seconds to walk to the room. Then proceeded to tell me that we need to watch our children ages 10 and 11 they were outside playing with a rc jeep and a hover board not destroing anything. Had to make a police report. Then one of the girls tried to use the restroom and he told her no that she needed to go back outside that she couldn't use it.... what in the hell???? A child couldn't use the restroom?? Still have yet to receive a refund nor our belongings to be replaced. Oh and not to mention the beds were not queens after telling me that they don't have any...
Read moreI made reservations online with Baymont, then drove 4 hours to the hotel. When I arrived Clint told me they were booked. I told him I had made reservations, so he looked up the reservation and told me they had booked me for a room that was out of order. He said the problem in the room was that the TV didnt work. I told him that was fine, but asked would he discount it, and he told me he wouldnt discount it. I said ok well we have to take the room since it is 2 a.m. but I will leave a review about the issues. He then told me since I would leave a review about the problems we encountered, he was refusing to rent the room to us, although we had made reservations and drove hours to get to the hotel. He refused service when I said I would leave a review, as I have rights to do, due to freedom of speech. He was extremely rude, and angry, and acted as if he didnt want to get out of the chair to wait on us. Refusing me a room, definitely didnt not stop me from leaving a review about my experience!!
