The hotel is extremely overpriced for the condition it is in. Everything is outdated. The mattresses are like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. My air conditioner made a horrible screeching noise the entire time the compressor was running. My toilet was so loose I didn't feel comfortable sitting on it. The rooms smell horrible of old body odor and cigarette smoke that has been covered up with many different sprays. (Management claims this smell is the industrial strength cleaner they use). The breakfast was frozen egg patties and frozen sausage biscuits in a self serve fridge. There was a waffle maker, but that was the best thing going for the free breakfast. I have stayed at hotels 1/4 of the cost and had way better breakfast. The WORST part about this stay was one of our rooms was infested with roaches (management claims they are simply a beetle). I will let you guys decide from the pictures below. The manager told my booking agent that the hotel was clean and absolutely no bugs of any kind. Once we showed her the bugs in the room I believe she was speechless.
I travel a couple times a month for work and have never experienced a hotel in this price range this bad.
Don't stay here! One of the newer hotels across the street is a much better option. You get many more comforts and a nice...
Read morei recently started a job here and was upfront about my lack of hotel experience during the interview. They assured me it was fine and hired me anyway. However, after starting my training for over 2 weeks, they decided to let me go because I didn't have hotel experience. It's frustrating and disappointing, especially since I was honest from the beginning. It’s hard enough for teens these days to find jobs. i thought i scored working a hotel job just for the manager to waste my time even after i told her i have previous work history but nothing for hotels and she said it was fine i’ll get trained for it and i did i learned everything i needed to know! i called in sick one day with the stomache bug going around and said i could even bring in a doctors note and the manager said it wasn’t needed and for me to get better. 3 days later i was feeling better and texted my manager saying i’m ready to be back at work mind you it was a weekend job i would’ve only missed 2 days that i could’ve made up for. it took the manager 3 DAYS to finally text me back after i had texted her multiple times about coming in for work just to hear her sorry ass excuse saying they hired someone else “with hotel...
