I have eaten here several times when I stay in Duncan. I got here at 8 pm on a Friday night. As I walked in, I saw some sort of sign posted on the door. But, due to the condensation on the door, the sign was completely unreadable. I later found out the sign was supposed to say they were out of brisket. I sat down and ordered a drink. I tried to order a meal only to find out they had no pulled pork. I then tried to order the brisket instead. No luck. I settled for the chicken. A family came in and sat down. They were not told the place had no brisket or pork until after they had ordered drinks and an appetizer and tried to order their meal. At this point, I overhear the waitress say they were out of ribs. I must have gotten the last two. Nope. Because about 3 minutes later I was told they didn't have enough ribs for my order either. At this point I was pretty upset. A BBQ place that sells meat but doesn't have pulled pork, brisket, or ribs!?! Seriously! How about make some more! I realize it's not as easy as slapping it in the microwave, but surely someone should be monitoring the meat to make sure you have enough to last until close on a Friday night. I settled for chicken trips. Just what I wanted at a BBQ place. Another couple walked in and they were not told this place had no food either. They ordered drinks as well. Only when trying to order a meal did they find out their choices were severely limited. They paid for their drink and left. I don't blame them. If you are not going to have food, you should have the hostess tell people what they are out of before she seats them. That only makes sense. Instead, youngest them and bring drinks in hopes of guilting them into staying and ordering whatever scraps you have left. Bad business. They tried to make it right with me by offering a free dessert. Nice sentiment but not enough for being out of almost all the...
Read moreNobody will read this long rant but this was bad, after a long 12+ hour day or hard work.
Placed an order for pick at at 7:20pm and was told 15 mins. I arrived at 7:30 to be barely great by two young girls talking about college supplies. I mentioned my name for pick up an they said it'd be ready in a second. I proceeded to wait until 8:00pm until my food came out. I checked it right at the hostess table because it just felt like it was messed up. All the food looked cold but the fries were extremely cold. I asked the hostess if I could get new fries and she said sure but walked away before I could give her both orders that needed replacing. As she was replacing I noticed I they didn't have my pie and ice cream that my wife specifically wanted me to check on. Once the waitressed arrived back with the warm (not hot) fries I mentioned I still was missing my pie and ice cream, she went back and checked again. Once she came back she said it was a mistake and was never rang in and that it would be another 10 mins for the pie and ice cream. I confirmed that I didn't pay for it originally and left. I live less than 5 mins away and by the time I got home everything was just disgusting. My wifes mash potatoes were extremely cold, my mac and cheese looked to be days old and was watery at the bottom. She got the two meat and I got the three meat and thank God there was sauce because all of the meat needed it.
We have given this pace a handful of tries but just keep getting disappointed it seems at every attempt. Good luck Rib Crib, I'm sure you don't need my business anyway but probably won't be going here for...
Read moreWe decided to travel from our home in West Virginia to visit with family in Temple, OK.
We stopped in Duncan at this RibCrib BBQ for dinner and it was amazing.
Two I of us had the Super Spud and I had The Club. My sandwich was amazing. The chicken and pork were perfectly smoked, tender and moist. The bacon was really good as well. I make my I own bacon and this was done right! The sandwich was very big and they had three BBQ sauces on the table, all of which were very good also. I tried two of the sauces on the club and it was very good. I also had the side salad ( which was huge ) and it was fresh and tasted quite good!
My wife and Mother In Law said that the Super Spud was amazing as well! The potatoes were very large and they were covered with very generous amounts of toppings ( brisket, cheese etc )!
Our waitress, (Brenna), was very attentive, friendly and did a top notch job.
Pricing was good, especially for what we were served!
The entire facility was well maintained, well appointed and clean.
I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for BBQ!
