Duncan Plaza — Local services in Duncan

The ugly truth!! Duncan plaza owned by Monroe Group is the worst place to rent from in town. Lies and more lies. They remodeled just enough to get by. The laundry facilities are garbage the washers don't always spin out the water and the drying takes at least two rounds. The staff is less desirable very stuck up and discriminative. And if you're not liked by the staff which means if you're not in the office kissing butt they have random inspections all the time for your apartment trying to get you removed. Always changing rules even when the overhead people say specifically we are allowed to smoke in one area they are trying to make us move and if we do not comply they have threatened to evict and write up people. On top of that when you call to report anything that goes on corporate ignorance ignores your messages and phone calls. And overall a place that is supposed to be low income senior friendly and community friendly tour is money hungry discriminative and gives two pennies about any of their tenants. They even go as far as trying to stop your visitors from coming around because they don't know them. Instead of putting something useful in the area like a community garden they chose to put a shuffleboard in that no one uses and have no equipment for so you tell me if this company really is for these people living here. And it is full of roaches when they did a few renovations to the apartments they spread really bad I never had problems until they started using a spray which I feel attracts more bugs then actually killing them I had no bugs in my apartment until they sprayed. And when I say sprayed they Spritz not actual spray. In honest truth if I had a new place to go and could afford it I would move. . As being the New Community Manager of Duncan Plaza I can honestly say we have done alot office wise and in upkeeping the Property and the Maintenance has done a marvelous job and plays a very big part in the upkeep of the property.
