I visited on a Wednesday evening around 8 pm. There was not a long line but it took me a while to order. The cashier was very slow with the few customers in front of me. When it was my turn to order the cashier could not answer my questions correctly. Her English was not very good. Once I placed my order to go I went to their salsa bar to pack up some salsas to go. They were tasty. Once I received my order I opened the containers to find out the fajita tacos don't come with any kind of lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese. I specifically asked the girl if the tacos came with white cheese and she said yes. I ended up paying $1.49 for a side of white cheese. My order also came with beans which I was told it did not. It came with refried beans which I did not want. I ended up exchanging them for borracho beans. The food is overpriced for what you get. The food tastes is okay but not worth the price you're paying. $4.89 per beef fajita taco which just includes the meat and tortilla. The green chicken enchiladas were small and didn't have a lot of chicken. They were a little dry also. Being from out of town I would not eat here again.

Awesome tacos! I had the bistek & frito plate (steak and potato) and both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Also had rice and beans which you could tell were house made and a perfect match to the dish. My workmate had the pork (al pastor) tacos and was solidly impressed. It's almost like the best food truck tacos, only on a massive scale. Their free salsa bar has a wide variety of styles to suit all tastes. They also have fresh made horchata! I think the fact that they stick to a simple menu that focuses on thier specialty... and sets them apart for it! Chips are free to take as well. Word to the wise, the Tripitas plate looks great in the menu pic, but beware ...tripe is an acquired taste! Thier massive space make it prime for a large crowd or planned family event. Kid friendly and the service is fast and first rate.

I have been here plenty of times and they've gone downhill and I feel that maybe the general managers will pay attention if I add to the reviews. I purchased two taco tote pack and I was told there was no baked potato nor charro beans, my husband asked if he could get an empanada instead of the refried beans or rice; but we were told no. I asked for the cheesey squash. The tacos were fine, but the refried beans where not mushed enough they had whole beans. The cheesey squash was extremely spicy. I felt the spice all the way to my ears. It was uneatable! The salsa bar was dirty. In one of the coke machine the handle to push for ice was missing. My meal consisted of two taco tote packs and two kids meals, the cost with tax was $52. For the cost of the food I expect a higher quality of service and cleansingness.

I just visited the Joe Battle and Edgemere location and received amazingly poor customer service. I usually have good experiences and Taco Tote locations, but today made me reconsider spending money with this company in the future. It started with only one cashier for a line of about four groups of people waiting to order. There was seemingly a lot of employees walking around that could have possibly attended the awaiting clientele but nobody even acknowledged the line. After about 7 minutes of standstill a young employee finally opened a register and started helping clients. She must have been new because she couldn’t work the register and had the listening skills of a small child. Her inability to take the order caused the other employee to move me back and help her customers with their orders. As I was standing there the inexperienced employee just stood there staring as if I am a mind reader. It took her a good while before she states that she can take my order. What followed after that was just rude and annoying comments from an employee that can’t even work the register. I am visibly annoyed at this point and she asks me what’s wrong. I explained that I’m a bit frustrated from the wait, and she straight up responds “Why!?” I did my best to calm myself and began ordering for myself and two children, and she couldn’t even get the simple order straight. I asked her if one of the accompanying pictures on the menu was the taco plate and she stated, “well if the picture is next to it then it’s the same meal.” …….Okay, so my thinking is that you’re gonna give me attitude when you can’t work a register, take an order, say hello and welcome to Taco Tote and you’re gonna give me lip and attitude?” Nope, you can keep that noise with your overpriced tacos. This was an extremely disappointing experience at a place I usually enjoy. If there were zero stars On the Google review of give this...

Im honestly so frustrated! Don’t order online.. I did thinking it’d be easier for my husband to pick up. The website said it’d be ready by 4:30 my husband got there at around 4:45ish they kept him waiting just to tell him they never received anything. I never got a confirmation email or a text just the transaction that was not good enough for them. I called the manager Crystal and she told me they couldn’t do anything without a confirmation number… I explained what happened she called her General Manager Marisol that told her the same thing. They told me to wait 5 business days to see if I would get my money back… then what? Call back in 5 days I’m still not going to have a confirmation number etc.. There lack of coming up with a solution is frustrating it kind of felt as if they were washing their hands from the situation vs. helping… Crystal did say that Corp had told them if they never got a confirmation email chances were they were getting their money back? (I hope) which makes me think this happens often or that it’s happened before? I just think it’s bad because I just waisted about 2 and half hours, $65 for nothing. Now I gotta go get food somewhere else spend more money more time… Just don’t order online it’s...

Firstly, customers seem to love the food at Tacotote. The menu offers a variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, and customers appreciate the quality of the ingredients used in their dishes. Many reviewers mention the freshness of the food and the generous portion sizes.

Secondly, the service at Tacotote is often praised by customers. The staff is described as friendly, attentive, and efficient, and orders are usually prepared quickly. Additionally, the restaurants are generally clean and well-maintained.

On the downside, some customers have noted that the prices at Tacotote can be a bit high compared to other fast food options. Additionally, some reviewers have reported long wait times during peak hours, although this seems to be a relatively uncommon issue.

Overall, Tacotote appears to be a solid choice for anyone in the mood for Mexican fast food.
