ReviewI had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Tropical Smoothie located at 3440 Joe Battle Suite 101, El Paso, Texas, and I feel compelled to share it.
I arrived at the drive-through around 12:40 PM, eager to grab a quick lunch. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment. When I reached the window, the employee with facial piercings didn't even have my order. I had to repeat my entire order, which was already a hassle. Then, she instructed me to pull to the front, assuring me that my Chipotle sandwich would be brought out shortly.
After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I noticed that customers who had been behind me were leaving with their orders. I was still left empty-handed and growing increasingly frustrated. I decided to go inside to seek assistance. The young cashier was sweet but seemed baffled by my situation.
The supposed manager, dressed in black, emerged from the restroom, engrossed in her phone. She was completely oblivious to the issue at hand. The cashier explained my predicament to her, but the manager didn’t seem to grasp the situation fully. After some back and forth, the cashier asked for my name, but I had never been asked for it at the drive-through.
Eventually, I had to show my receipt just to get my order, which looked like it had been sitting there waiting for me. Had I not gone inside, who knows how long I would have waited. As I walked back to my car, I noticed the drive-through employee wandering around, confused about where to deliver orders. It was evident that she was overwhelmed and unsure of what to do.
While I have no issue with younger generations working in service, it’s clear that proper training and preparation for handling customer frustrations are essential. A more organized approach could significantly improve the flow of service and ensure customers leave satisfied.
In summary, my experience at this Tropical Smoothie location was far from satisfactory. I hope they address these issues soon, as it’s crucial for a business to run smoothly to keep...
Read moreWent in today and your worker who didn't give me her name was absolutely rude . Started off because app wasn't letting me redeem my points . It's been happening for months and I wanted to know who to talk to about it. She told me we'll you need to figure it out and i dont know who to talk to. She rudely kept interrupting me just with a no care attitude . Then she proceeded to come out and try intimidating me and I told her mam I have all of this recorded on my dash and she says "well I got a camera too" then I told her oh cool with audio of this whole conversation plus you now in my window trying to act tough. Her tone changed and she tried saying no I never said I was a manager and offered me a free shut up smoothie . I denied her smoothie and left my number for manager . I'm not sure if manager got it so that's why I comment here. I've never had a problem here till today and with your worker trying to act tough ,I will not be buying from here anymore and neither will my company. Your worker needs more training and she also refused to give me a manager's number and said I can call the store but no manager will be there for two weeks . I also called other stores and general managers and will be sending everything to corporate with video .
Today went at night to avoid this manager . She ends up being their and gives me her same attitude I ask for general manager and she closes window and locks lobby as if I'm the one coming off aggressive .please address this "managers " attitude . Clearly she doesn't...
Read moreI have no complaints whatsoever about the food which its usually great. This review is actually because apparently your store doesn’t have proper management. I went to the drive through at around 10:50am or so I was hoping to use a T-mobile reward that offered a code for a free smoothie. When I redeemed the smoothie as instructed at the window and the employee scanned it even seeing that there was an offer on the app. She responded with did you use it before? Like how could I when she literally just saw me activate the redeem code in front of her. I asked for a manager to see if maybe they could do something but the employee said, “She’s in training and doesn’t know much so she wouldn’t be able to do anything.”I mean okay yes she might not know how to do things but if you’re a manager shouldn’t you have some experience with unsatisfied customers or be able to resolve issues. I did order other smoothies as well which I was more than happy to pay for but to be told simply, “It’s not working sorry” is confusing and leaves you feeling unsettled. I paid for my smoothies and left feeling disappointed. Hope your staff has better management training because telling customers they can’t speak to a manager due to improper training...
