I went in with my family today and was spoken to rudely by Gerardo. His badge reads asst manager. After reading the previous comments of bad reviews I see this Dairy Queen needs some employee intervention. Gerardo shame on you for your poor professionalism. Aiden ended up helping us. He was polite but when I asked for the owners card or phone number he said he didn’t know it. You work for an establishment and don’t know who your boss is. Sounds fishy to me. My husband asked for the code to the bathroom. Gerardo hurriedly walked away saying the code is on the receipt. We didn’t have a receipt cause we hadn’t yet ordered anything. Experience: I came in and was immediately disappointed. I came just for the $8 Meal deal, but apparently this store puts a time limit on that, 11AM to 4PM. The other DQ I go to normally (in Oceanside), does not have a time frame on that, so I was very disappointed. I had to settle for another meal that does not come with a drink or ice cream, buying everything separately. When I went to sit down, every single table was dirty. I call the store and no answer, I call corporate who promises I'll hear back from the store (I don't.) I go into the store and am harassed by the manager about why it took me so long to complain like I'm lying about what happened.
Finally I redeem a point reward for a 10" cake in the app. I arrive in the store and am told that they only have 8" cakes and that they cannot refund my points. Instead I'm offered a 15% discount on a future 8" cake am given an 8" cake on the day.
An 8 inch circle is 50 inches. A 10 inch circle is 78. Do not go to this store if you intend to pick up a mobile order, and check everything you get...
