I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service and accommodations my family received during our recent stay at your hotel from July 3–6, 2025. My family occupied four rooms during this visit, and the experience was far below acceptable standards.
Most concerning was the condition of Room 212, where my 85-year-old uncle and 77-year-old aunt were staying. On July 4, the air conditioner in their room malfunctioned. The outdoor temperature was 96°F that day and remained in the upper 90s throughout the weekend. My aunt went to the front desk to report the issue, and the hotel manager responded in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner—raising his voice at her and denying the problem. When he came to the room, he insisted the air conditioning was working, though only one vent was emitting cool air while the other three were blowing warm air. He slammed the door so loudly upon leaving that it alarmed me and prompted me to check on the situation myself.
My aunt and I returned to the lobby together to request assistance, at which point the manager again raised his voice and stated that he wished we would check out of the hotel. He repeated multiple times that he did not want us staying there and that there were no other rooms available. Despite my maintaining a respectful and professional tone, he continued to be hostile.
Later, I returned to the lobby alone to request a fan as a temporary solution. I recorded this interaction, anticipating further issues. The manager reluctantly agreed to provide a fan and had me follow him to the laundry room, where he placed the fan on the concrete floor and instructed me to carry it to the second floor. As a guest—and a woman—I requested his assistance with transporting it. At this point, he became verbally aggressive once again, repeating that he wished we would leave. He did carry the fan upstairs, but continued to insult me the entire way.
This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is entirely unacceptable and does not reflect basic standards of customer service.
Additionally, in Room 211, the sink light went out, and no maintenance was provided for the duration of our stay. The manager instructed my 60-year-old uncle to come to the lobby to retrieve a lamp, which he was expected to use for the entire weekend. No one came to change the lightbulb, and my uncle had to visit another family member’s room each morning just to shave.
My family has stayed at this hotel for years, dating back to when it operated as a Holiday Inn. Unfortunately, based on this recent experience, we will never return and will not recommend this hotel to others. The condition of the rooms combined with the appalling customer service made for an incredibly disappointing and distressing stay.
I hope this matter is taken seriously, as no guest should be treated in...

Debris and trash behind inside doors and 1 bathroom door. Door locks were loose and not very secure (we pushed furniture behind the doors each night for added security). Suite was not in a ready condition to be rented. It lacked sweeping, bathroom area countertops (both) had not been wiped down, sinks were dirty, I found a finger nail behind the water handle that looked like it had been there for a while, both bed spreads had stains (stuck/dried on food) although one was worse than the other. We chose not to use either. There was an extra comforter on the shelf. As I took it down to examine, I found what looked like an old menstruation stain on the comforter. I folded it back up and placed it back on the shelf. Both sheets and pillow cases looked as if they were from a prior stay. The pull out couch on the other side of the suite looked clean at first site, however, when the cushions were pulled off there were dusty crumbs and whatever else in the cracks and crevices and the surface was dusty and had not been wiped down. The toilet seat in the bathroom on the right was not clean, both tubs needed cleaning and both sinks. After finding things in this way (and after having already paid close to $500 for the stay) all who had come (5 family members) left to go to the nearest Walmart to get cleaning supplies to clean the place. I bought Comet, Lysol disinfectant spray and wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, a full sheet set and more towels. We returned to the hotel and I cleaned both entire bathroom areas (sinks, tubs and toilets) before I allowed anyone to use. We used the bed sheets as best as we could, wiped down and sprayed the pull out couch and placed towels and the purchased sheet set for it.
This was one of my worst stays ever. This stay was recommended by my sister who was one of the guest with me. She was quite embarrassed.
We left a day early due to concerns about Hurricane Debby moving into Georgia. We had to drive through Georgia to get to the Atlanta Airport so thought it best to leave early to not miss our flight. I checked out at the front desk and explained why we were leaving. I asked if I would receive a credit for leaving a day early and I was told that the internet was down ( the cable service was being worked on) but that it would be handled later. I have not seen the credit.

Read moreMy family drove in from out of town for the 4th and I booked the double queen bed suite. Check-in was a breeze Thanks to the female at the front desk. Once we got to the room, it was dead bugs all over the floor, a giant spider on the curtain that I had to get rid of and the room had a foul odor. So the female receptionist sent guest services right away and took care of those issues. So thank you for being proactive!
Later that night when my family and I returned to the room. It was a huge bug crawling all over our things. At that time , my partner call the front desk and the male receptionist told us to come get the bug spray. So, I immediately got upset because we just told you a bug was crawling on our things and he never tried to accommodate us. I also let out the sofa bed and it was so filthy! It had blood stains and dirty hand prints on it. This was suppose to be a renovated suite. I paid $152 for this suite and it was just filthy. The male receptionist talked to us nasty and told us to check out of the hotel. There were no rooms available anywhere in town because it was a holiday and it was late. I had my partner and baby with me. So, I caught the bug with some tissue and took it to the front desk. The male receptionist was still being disrespectful towards me. He then snatch the bug out of my hand. At that point, I felt the need to remain calm and speak up for me and my family. The male receptionist stated again that I needed to check out the hotel. So, I said ok. I want a full refund. He then changed his demeanor and stated that he would give me $20 off the room. Then he changed it to $40 off. The professionalism was horrible and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The pictures on the website is deceptively misleading. To the male receptionist, I understand that you're over worked because your the only person there at night, but it's a way to talk to your guest with respect and understanding. Please hire extra workers for night shift if you can't handle the issues that's...
