This hotel can not be recommended for guests with physical disabilities. I reserved an accessible room, because I use a wheelchair. Arriving at the hotel, I did not see any disabled parking by the entrance/lobby and restaurant. Is this ADA-compliant? The room they gave me finally, they called “handicap” room, a term which is not to be used for 50 years :-) . The room was 0,3 miles from the main building at the very end of the hotel grounds, which are large and situated on a hill. That "accessible" room was in a building, which you can not reach with a manual wheelchair, because there were several bumps and gradients on the way, some parts of the streets are extremely steep. Especially the last yards leading to the "accessible" room have a gradient about 10 percent (see photo). The "accessible" room finally had a good disabled parking place, but in the room there was a bad odor, it smelled old and wet. The bathroom with a tub and toilet was such small, that it was not possible to close the door when sitting in a wheelchair. Going for breakfast meant to load the wheelchair into the car, ride with the car to the restaurant building where there was no disabled parking, looking for a parking place, unload the wheelchair, go to breakfast, then load the wheelchair again into the car, ride 0,3 miles to the “handicap” room, unload the wheelchair and so on. It is not understandable, why the "accessible" rooms are not located near the lobby. The only bright spot was a very sympathic waiter in the historic restaurant.

I was very impressed with this hotel for the price. I choose it because it was one of the only dog friendly options as we were driving through on a road trip. The staff was very friendly, even when we checked in at almost midnight. The layout of the hotel was unique, more motel style, since we had our dog with us, it was great because we didn’t have to bring him through the building and could go right to our door. The beds were huge and comfy. My only “complaint” was the bathroom was tiny, but manageable and still very clean. The included breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel like this, lots of fresh fruit, the eggs were cooked well and seemed fresh vs. the powdered eggs you normally get. Will definitely stay here if we’re ever passing through again!

My stay here was wonderful! What i loved most was all the wild life I seen during my time here. The room was fantastic, the tub was clean the beds were wrinkle free, I cant even do that at my own house. Cloudy pillows, great television. The continental breakfast extraordinary hot and fresh. I would stay here every time I come to town thanks everyone at the Best Western you were fantastic!!!

Love this place been coming here for 10 years to visit my fiancée's family.

The front desk woman and the gal charge of the Wait staff for breakfast this morning on 9/4/2023 need to get over their s* and realize they're being paid to serve people.

No paying customer was impressed by their behavior. Others along with myself were very displeased and disgusted. Those 2 older females should feel honored that they get to work in such a fine establishment and treat it as such. They should be revolving around the establishment & the business it conducts, not vice aversa.

Their behavior and their performance for what their jobs require was very disappointing for women in their 50s and 60s to witness as a patron of this establishment.

Both women were rude upon inquiry about SERVICE in front of other customers! There was no apology but obvious displeasure at the customers. No attempt of any ownership to provide what the customer had paid for and agreed to when booking at this establishment. I along with other customers were met with momentous passive-aggressive offense gestures and looks. Several times I witnessed other custers request being dismissed, acknowledged only to be ignored at the tables in the bar room where staff directed them to sit and eat. When I or any other of the patrons would attempt to request service again we were met with the same behavior only to reach out to a lower staff members to finally get the service that was promised, Quickly efficiently and apologetically.

Not only was I being mistreated and disrespected as a 10 year patron by these two older women, I saw several others customers being treated likewise and we spoke on it publicly in front of other customers and I do not want this type of stain on this fine and well respected establishment.

I saw dedicated workers cleaning and wiping tables and maintaining the rooms that are 20 times more dedicated than these 2 older women were.

Thank you I look forward to coming here again as it has always been a pleasure except for those 2 women.

Sincerely K.G....

What did we just stumble into??? From the outside, this doesn't look like anything other than the budget hotel we expected it to be. Boy were we wrong!

The room was...fine. Above average for the price. Clean, well maintained, really great beds. I would have given it 5 stars based on the unexpected quality of the room alone. But no, that's just the beginning.

Every freaking employee at this place is just...cool. The service is excellent, and they genuinely seem to love their jobs. I guarantee they have great management. There's just so much attention to the little details. Stuff you might miss, if you don't stop to remember this isn't a $300/night establishment.

The free breakfast is nothing short of legendary. It's a buffet of high-grade, fresh, handmade classics. I live in the South, and even by that standard their biscuits are on point. Not hard, not soggy, not cold. And there's gravy. And bacon. And sausage. And eggs. And fresh fruit. Etc etc etc. Naturally the coffee is totally legit too.

But even with all this, it's the little details. I asked for coffee, water, and a little bit of OJ. I got exactly that, including the perfect serving of OJ I asked for. As we were wrapping up, they offered to send us away with fresh coffee in to-go cups. Uh, yes please. The service was excellent, sincere, and even a little funny at times. I caught a very subtle joke between two employees that had me laughing for at least a hundred miles down the highway.

Just before walking out for good, I asked about the history of the hotel and got a really interesting story from the front desk clerk about FBI agents, famous criminals, and family business. Absolutely everything about our stay here...

We stayed here on our way to Oregon and the lounge was closed, so we wanted to check out the restaurant on our way back. HUGE disappointment. The room was bigger than our last stay. We were above the boiler last time and it was TERRIFYING waking up with the whole room shaking. The hotel is older but has a cool history. The bed had two small pillows each, and we had to ask for more. The night auditor David is awesome. HE gets 5 Stars. The room took all night to cool down with the air on 65/high/constant fan. The bar was interesting. There was a fight breaking out. The security handled it and the bar staff was really nice. The other guests were SO loud. The worst part was the complimentary breakfast in the morning. I was so excited and that was my mistake, I guess. We should have kept sleeping. They sat myself and my three daughters, gave us juice and that's was it. Walked out after almost a half hour of no service, with three other tables who had all been helped. I was told by the front desk that they serve breakfast till 11 and the complimentary breakfast was told him 30. When I asked for the regular breakfast menu I was brought a dinner menu and the waitress told me they don't do breakfast. She was polite enough at first, but seemed super annoyed by us when she gave us our drinks. They must not serve kids at all, they gave my 14 month old a large GLASS of apple juice..? I'm really sad, as this was a destination we chose, for the amenities. We're extremely disappointed. I'll stay with the Holiday Inn Express like I usually...
